Everything was faux, which meant I could relax a bit more in the run-up to the wedding 😅

~ I get asked most days, "Are you still doing the flowers!?" "Are you finished with the flowers!?"
~ So, I thought I'd come on here and explain!....

~ Yes, I'm still doing flowers, and yes, I am finishing with the flowers... I've been saying this since about September, though!! 🤦‍♀️

~ I still have stock to use up, which is taking a bit of time to get through as I don't get to work on them as often as I'd like
~ My aim is to be finished by the end of May, though, if not before! 🙏
~ I'm not taking orders at the moment, as my stock is limited, and I can't guarantee when I'll be able to do them
~ I'll be popping anything I make up on my page

~ I hope this helps everyone understand where I'm at!

~ I'm partly sad to be finishing up, but my aching back is happy!!

My flower journey, and passion, began at 'The Shows', with my dear friend, the late Jessie Sutherland from Halkirk, getting me started! So it's been very fitting to make the decision to end this journey on a County Show weekend!

My last two weddings this weekend were also very special ....
My stunning niece, Eilidh... who went for a bold, bright pop of faux blooms🧡
And beautiful Rachel, whom I've known since she was born... chose soft summery whites and blue flowers 🩵
(Didn't get many photos of Rachel's as I ran out of time and phone battery 🤦‍♀️)

It's been a wonderful time, creating so many beautiful weddings since 2012, but the time has come to call it a day 🤍

🤍 I'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to every single person who supported my business during the last 11 years, it is appreciated more than you'll ever know 🤍

I've had quite a few enquiries re Christmas wreaths, workshops and flowers, so thank you for not forgetting about me! 💞
As some of you will know, I've got myself an additional temporary job at the college, so I'm limited as to what I can do with the flowers, so I'll not be doing any workshops or making fresh wreaths to order, this year. Anything I might manage to make will be posted to my page by mid December 🎄
