What a show last night, I stayed up till dawn to take it all in with Selkie and Sula and a couple of midgies keeping me company!

We now need to lie down in a darkened room for a few days to recover 🛌. Massive shout out to @druimghigha who came up with the design, did all the bespoke painting and was a calm presence throughout whenever I got in flap which was often 😅. Her skills are plain to see and we’re absolutely delighted with the result. Couldn’t have done it in the timescale without @islandstyletomo and Alan as there was a lot to do, especially as we decided to have a peek under the carpet on day 1 and there was no going back when we discovered the wooden floor 🙈. All in all an epic job, with everyone pushing through various illnesses to get the job done 🥹. Next up is the Cabin kitchen, then the bathroom, then onto the Wing which we have exciting plans for too. But first, a rest!

Alongside our self catering at Achnadrish and camper-van hire we’ve added a couple of hot tubs to the mix 🛁. We bought one for ourselves during lockdown and were so impressed by the therapeutic benefits and just downright gorgeousness that we decided to set up a side business hiring them out to people on Mull. Our youngest son Finn is taking a key role and it will be his smiley face you see when we come and set up your hot tub for you.
