We’ve been given the very exciting opportunity to run an all things reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate day at PetsCorner in Tunbridge Wells! This upcoming Thursday please come find us and our educational ambassadors in store at the Blue Diamond Garden Centre, Eridge Road, TN4 8HR. Whether it’s to see your favourite ambassador in action or ask some care related questions we’ll be in store all day giving educational talks and demonstrations! We hope to see you then 🐍🐢🦎

A massive thank you to Friends of Valence for the wonderful day out and amazing summer fair today! We had a fantastic time meeting everyone and the reptiles had a blast playing in the sun and causing mischief as usual 🐍💚

Thank you so much Royal Rise Primary School for having us today at their summer fair! We had an absolute blast and it seems like everyone else did too. The turnover was incredible despite the morning rain and we were amazed by all the brave parents and even braver kids. The reptiles have had an amazing time out and hope to see you all again soon! 🐍🐢🦎

Happy World Snake Day from the National Centre for Reptile Welfare!

World Snake Day is an international day for raising awareness of snake conservation efforts, boosting snake education, reducing the stigma around snakes, and just celebrating our legless friends!

Did you know that there are over 4,000 species of snake in the world? This makes them one of the most diverse groups of reptiles (after lizards)!

One week till Halloween🎃 👻 So to celebrate one of our favourite seasons we bring you a spooky Ekko! He is a Bearded Dragon and a natural model (although he wasn’t too fond of our witches hat). This little guy is a Treat to work with and he’s the cutest pumpkin in the patch!

This weekend we were given the absolutely incredible opportunity to attend the Anthony Roper Primary School Autumn Fair! We had an amazing time, the weather and the people treated us insanely well. Our educational team received so much love we didn’t know what to do with ourselves. A big thank you to the PTA! Hopefully everyone got the opportunity to learn and handle some of our amazing animals and if not we hope to see you again!

A massive thank you Shipbourne County Primary School for having us at their Summer fair. The reptiles got to meet so many new friends including firemen, plenty of keen children, and a few brave adults! We love coming down and educating about National Centre for Reptile Welfare as well as our small team and what we do. We hope to see some of you again! An extra thank you to Vickie Clarke for helping us out and bringing along some of her team, including Captain Crispy who was an absolute joy to have and got lots of cuddles! If you want us and the rest of the Reptile Centre at your school make sure to get in contact with us or the centre so we can arrange to meet you too!

Had the absolutely awesome opportunity to try ultrasounding a couple of reptiles with and . Super cool to confirm potential gravid animals and see the possibilities of ultrasounds in terms of some herps!

Almost a week ago we had the absolutely awesome opportunity to attend the Lambing Weekend at Hadlow College with our favourite National Centre for Reptile Welfare. Custard loved getting to meet everyone from the cautious to the experienced reptile keeper and educate and advocate for the herptile community and the adoption of beloved pets 💛🐍Jack the Cuban Rock Iguana was happy to see us too!

Halloween is always in season right? Meet Steven King the California King Snake. Despite his Jack Skeleton looks he’s actually one of our sweetest team members. Although he likes an explore he will more than happily hang out with you and is an awesome Colubrid to get to grips with as well as being an awesome photo partner!
