Probably my last harvest of the year and from the patch where I currently grow. 😭 The lovely owners of the farm where I have been growing flowers (and a lot in myself) for the past two years have decided they'd like their space back, so that's it for growing on this scale for now. Not sure what's coming next...but I have a few ideas up my sleeve! 😉

Celebrate the turning of the seasons and learn to make a wreath with all the beautiful colours of autumn.
I will show you how to weave your own willow base, to then add an array of seasonal, locally grown foliage, dried flowers and seed heads to create a stunning wreath. Take it home to adorn your door and be enjoyed over the coming months.

Includes all materials and coffee/tea & locally made cakes during the workshop.

Limited to just 10 places.

Entrance to Riverhill Gardens is also included in the cost of your workshop.

After the workshop you are then free to enjoy the gardens. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and make a day of it (our café will also be open for light lunches on the terrace if you prefer)

I'm off on holiday to the Lake District for a week. So I'll leave you with some photos of this beauty I made last week in a gorgeous crystal bowl complete with wire mechanics my Grandad gave me. It used to belong to his wife, Jan who we lost in the spring and we miss so much. She was a bonus grandmother to me, and always so creative with painting, cooking and gardening. Every time I arrange flowers in this, I'll think of all the special memories we shared. It's also very apt as little did Grandad realise, that it's mine and Tom's Crystal wedding anniversary today! 💖

All locally grown by me and the amazing , thank you Vicky! 😊
These not only looked gorgeous but also smelled amazing (wish insta had a scratch and sniff!) With a beautiful scent coming from the roses, sweet peas and mint.
So pleased the colour palette the bride chose went so well with the existing display I made in the church few weeks ago for this months sermon series of 'Resurrection' depicting a sunrise.☀️

What a way to spent a sunny Sunday afternoon...doing my least favourite gardening job...weeding! 😅 The weeds had got somewhat out of hand at the farm so I could barely see the seedlings from the seeds a sowed about a month ago. My brilliant hubby Tom did the smaller section under the old poly tunnel frame now the ranunculus are done, we're planning to grow some veg in there.
Exhausted now, so time for a cheeky Pimms and put my feet up!

We've had a wonderful few days away, just the two of us in Oxfordshire. On our way home, we visited Waterperry Gardens. This is such a beautiful and peaceful place, truly inspiring and we were so lucky to see the wisteria at its best. I'm going to be visiting as many gardens as I can this year, as its something I love to do, gives so much inspiration for my own space and gets me really excited for what the future might bring...!

Tulips...one of my favourites, and blooming in abundance at the farm now. 💚
I have invested a lot of time and money into this crop, so hoping and praying it pays off. 🙏
There is no comparison to supermarket tulips, these beauties have long, strong stems and big beautiful blooms which last well over a week. (The last photos shows them looking gorgeous after 4 days).

Exciting news...I have my first few markets coming up this month!
This Saturday (15th) I'll be at the Pantiles Tunbridge Wells 10-4.
And on Saturday 29th I'll be at the Sevenoaks Climate Fair, which is very exciting! Held at the Vine Gardens 10.30-4, there's going to be over 30 stalls, all eco friendly businesses and charities helping you to make sustainable choices to reduce your carbon footprint...more info on that to come!

Happy Easter All! ✝️

A few weeks ago I led a group of lovely ladies showing them how to weave a nest, which we then incorporated into the 'tree' I fashioned from Hazel branches kindly given to me by a local tree surgeon.
I work for my church on day a week as 'Creative Associate'. This role covers a wide range of things, and just a small part of what I do, but one of my favourites is creating these floriferous displays for special services like Easter Sunday 💛

Good Friday. Today, as we remember the immense sacrifice Jesus made for us when he died on the cross, I feel so grateful for all the blessings he has given me.
Here's a couple of Easter arrangements, the one in front in the little bunny pot is my daughter, Ophelia's first attempt at flower arranging. (8 years old). She showed such joy selecting her blooms from the garden, patiently waiting for them to condition before arranging them in water with a Kenzan and chicken wire for support in this low vessel. I'm quite pleased she enjoyed it so much, and pretty proud too tbh! 🥰

Treat yourself or a loved one to a lovely posy full of 20 beautiful scented heritage narcissi. These are worlds away from your typical bright yellow supermarket daffodils, featuring a beautiful mix of soft yellows, creams, whites and pinks with frilly centres as well as little trumpets and tiny cups at their centres. Cut at varying lengths and degrees of openness and arranged with some pretty twiggy bits to add some texture and shape to your vase.

They won’t be available for long, so grab yourself a beautiful bunch of scented narcissi whilst they’re blooming!

Sitting pretty on the dining table this week. Garden gathered spring in a very lovely vintage enamel jug Mum treated me to last time we had lunch together ❤️
Love this colour combination, feels very soft and gentle. It smells divine too with the pretty little soft yellow narcissi Avalanche.
I felt like painting when my daughter got the watercolours out the other day, so thought I'd have a crack at it. (My first attempt since university!) I don't hate it, so that's saying something! It's definitely not accurate in any way, just an impression.

Happy Mothers Day!
This morning I feel a massive sense of achievement...(as well as feeling like I could sleep for a week!)
Thank you to all my lovely customers for your orders and supporting me as I begin my flowery business! It's meant so much. I had a LOT to do, and was up late and started very early to get them all done, but I DID IT! And I'm quite pleased with how they turned out.
