A few thoughts whilst I take a moment to reflect on Mothers Day - one of the biggest, if not the biggest, day in my calendar.

This got way wordier than intended but if nothing else was a great reflection exercise - something I don't do enough.

Thanks again to every one of you who, not only bought this Mother's Day, but has bought from me over the past year and helped grow and grow 🌿🌿🌿

It's true - I really considered not doing it. Some may say a poor business desicion for a florist...

However - I sat with it, researched and worked out what I felt comfortable with, based on the Delilah and Herb ethos and my own love language ❤️ and then I found a way that really sat right with me..

Ahhh little L - she has to be one of my favourite clients of last year - total flower girl goals! I heard she didn't put her flowers down all day, was mortified when she thought they were being taken from her and even held tight to them in the car on her journey home ❤️ Cuuuuute! She clearly gets my ethos of using the flowers to their max on the day 🫶😉

I am obsessed with this weather ❄️

While lots of people might be wrapped up indoors, I find myself wanting to be out in it as much as possible - refreshing, crisp and just stunning.

All plans that I had in the garden though are of course on hold, but instead of getting frustrated I'm leaning into that.

I've seen lots of posts this year about how the depths winter naturally are a time of hibernation and to stay slow, we do not have to suddenly spring into action on the 1st Jan. A reminder that spring doesn't begin until late March - and I'm very much here for that 😍❄️ Of course life happens and there is still work to be done but natural rhythms are very much my bag for 2025 ❤️
