It is time to introduce our unique pub, barn & garden wedding venue to you!
Mick and I, Hazel, came to The Plough Inn in September 2013 and since then we haven't stopped appreciating and building our unique business to what it is today.
The pub was originally a row of 4 16th century cottages, hence the 4 front doors, 2 inglenook fireplaces and 4, now filled in, wells which you'll notice on your arrival in front of each door.
The barn, a slightly later addition, we believe to have its roots in the 17th century.
The venue has hosted wedding receptions since the early 1980's and Hazel's sister's was, we believe, the first wedding reception to take place in the barn, which was first licenced for civil ceremonies in 2016 with the garden hedgerow gazebo added to the ceremony possibilities in the spring of 2020.
If you're looking to marry in a professional yet flexible family run venue, at any time of year, then come and visit.
We hope you'll love our world as much as we do.
