Thank you to everyone for moving their vehicles. Operation Christmas is now underway & our fantastic helpers are setting up as we speak. If anyone else fancies lending us a hand, we shall all be here until the job is complete, regardless of temperature, so more hands make light work & we would be everso grateful 🙏🙏

Get the low down on where to find us this year...... Millbrook Village Hall.

Whilst parking is limited in the village; FEAR NOT!!! We have a bus stop literally facing us which goes in both directions & we are THAT organised, that we have even written down the bus timetable for you to save to your phone! ❤️

So, why not leave the car at home for the day, hop on the bus and enjoy a few cheeky glasses of Mulled Wine or a Baileys Hot Chocolate as you do your festive shopping!

With 10 days to go until the market we thought we would start showcasing different aspects of this year's fabulous festive event 💗

So, to kick-start..... this is us! We are the organisers behind Millbrook Christmas Market! Otherwise known as Kirstie & Fran!

We are busy, working mums who organise this annual market completely voluntarily. We're both super passionate about our village & strongly believe in supporting other local businesses, artists, crafters & creatives from this beautiful place we call home. Community is at the heart of all we do so it means alot to us to be able to give back in some way.

Each year has become bigger and more complex and we absolutely couldn't do it without the support of our families; in particular....... Kirstie's partner Ross & Fran's husband Ryan; who both always go above & beyond to help us with the setup/takedown of our events (aswell as our stress levels leading up to the big day!) So a huge public note of thanks & love to them both ❤️

We are Crowdfunding!! Operation Marquee begins today!! 🎅

Due to overwhelming demand for stalls this year, we are in desperate need of additional marquees to provide shelter for our stallholders and the public whilst shopping.

As Kirstie & I run this event entirely on a voluntary basis, any profits go directly to Millbrook Pre-School. We want to be able to pass over as much as we can and therefore need to keep costs down to a minimum. Operational costs are high due to venue hire fees, insurances etc. Our stall fees are minimal to ensure we stick to our ethos of being accessible to all who want to exhibit with us, but this does mean that funds are limited.

This is where you come in.......

This is our 4th annual event and we have grown from a mere 15 stalls to a staggering number of 71 enquiries this year!!!! This is a variety of charities/CIC's who we offer reduced rate stall fees, small businesses and local crafters, artists and more. We aim to support everyone in our community that wishes to join and do not select/vet stallholders.

We need to raise around £600 per marquee. In an ideal world we would like 4 of these to accommodate the vast number of stallholders we have in a seamless outfit; but realistically we need a bare minimum of 2 in order to get through this year.

So please help us in supporting our local community, by continuing this event, where everyone can shop locally this festive season. Every penny helps and so does spreading the word so please share, share, share......

To purchase 2 large event marquees for stallholders to exhibit inside for our annual Christmas Market in support of Millbrook Preschool.
