20 minutes past midnight and I have just finished decorating the venue for an elopement tomorrow. So just treating myself to a welsh cake, which was a lovely gift from my last couple, and a cup of tea with my Mum and Dad's favourite song sung by their favourite singer Nana Mouskouri, and my puppy pal Olive for company . This is my peaceful time, my little escape and my time to reflect on weddings to come, weddings that have passed, what's for breakfast in the morning for my couple, and my childhood with my parents and their love that I so miss right now. Excited about tomorrow's elopement, there will be 10 guests in total, these small intimate weddings mean so much, the love that floats around them is beautiful and deeply touching and meaningful...I treasure these weddings in my heart. I also look forward to our lovely registrars coming too, especially Linda who has become a very cherished and respected party of The Cow Shed Family. Matilda, soon to be new accommodation at The Cow Shed..

I have decided that Matilda, my very much loved vintage Cheltenham Waterbuck Caravan, has been ignored and neglected for too long now and should be given the love, attention and care she so deserves. I can't wait to get going with decorating etc, so excited. With COVID putting larger weddings in qyestion for 2021, I am hoping that our NEW "Till The Cows Come Home" Elopement package, that's just been launched here at The Cowshed will enable us to offer a very romantic, unique and quirky style of accommodation and wedding for our gorgeous couples...in the form of Matilda.. Now, I can hear you gasp when you see how forlorn she looks at the moment, she may be a little shabby and not so chic right now, but give me a few months and with the help of a friend, she will soon be looking cosy, warm and wonderfully inviting for our couples to snuggle up in and celebrate their wedding day.
