We are so excited to announce our summer school ‘ A MUSICAL A DAY ‘

📅 12th - 16th August
📍 The Base Tor Hill Road, Torquay
🕥 10am - 4pm Daily
🎭 Show performance for the parents guardians to watch on Fri 16th Aug at 2:30pm

This summer school will be packed with singing, dancing, games, themed arts & crafts, costume making and LOADS of fun
Whilst getting professional training and performance workshops

A MUSICAL A DAY - we will be working on songs and dances from a different chosen musical each day! (Spoiler alert- do we have any lovers of Frozen, Matilda, The greatest showman? 🫶😜😁)
We will also incorporate themed games and crafts for that particular musical.
Then on the last day (Fri 16th Aug) we open the doors to the parents and guardians where they can watch the show that they have been working on all week.

The summer school is available to both current and non Beatz Academy students.

A busy week planning lots of Bass Beatz Productions projects in the Base 🫶

Plus we had a visitor today- Chris Chambers 🙌🏼 Our Stairway to the Stars competition planning is well underway and looking soooo exciting.
It was great to have Chris at the Base to show him around and to catch up

Bass Beatz Productions love working in our new offices at The Base
It’s great for structure and productivity, however it’s always great to get our little visitors from Beatz Academy pop upstairs to give a bit of light relief and entertainment. ❤️🥰🫶 Little Lexi and the umbrella hat! 😂

Do you want to learn our Flashmob dance? 🕺🩰👯‍♂️, take part in this year's Parade at Torbay Pride 2024 by doing the opening dance from Austin Powers, "International man of Mystery."" Our friends, Bass Beatz Productions, will be holding two free sessions to come and learn the dance. In their brand new dance studio The Base, Tor Hill Road, Torquay. The dates are Saturday 10th August 10:30 am
Tuesday 20th August 7:30pm. Come along, take part, and have a laugh. No experience is needed!

We are so proud to have this stunning building which was built in the 1800’s. Full of history, character and lots of rooms/ spaces, we can’t wait to share what we are doing with it all !
So far we’ve shared the main studio and the foyer area ……. What’s next ?! 🧐🫶😁

Welcome to The Base !

We got the keys only a month ago and it was literally a shell (an old church)
To get to where it is now has taken ALOT of work (still lots to do!!)
So a massive shout out and an even bigger thankyou to these legends who have worked so hard
