It is with a heavy heart that we want to inform you that The Trail Events Company has had to take insolvency advice due to financial difficulties.

We have several upcoming events scheduled. Unfortunately, given the financial issues The Trail Events Company is facing, we wholeheartedly regret to tell you that we will be unable to fulfil these commitments. This is a decision that is hugely upsetting and has not been taken lightly.

We understand the impact this news may have on you, and we deeply regret any distress and inconvenience this may cause.

The Trail Events Company doesn’t have enough money or assets to go into liquidation. As such, the company invites creditors or members to issue winding-up proceedings, should you wish to do so.

If creditors or members do not take formal winding up proceedings, we intend to apply for strike off under s1003 Companies Act 2006 after a period of three months from 18/07/2024.

In light of the company’s difficulties, we are seeking interested parties who may wish to take over the events and potentially the company itself. Trail Events Co has been running for 10 years and could be a great venture for someone who is passionate about the running community. If you or someone you know might be interested, please reach out to us via [email protected]

We very much value the trust and support you have given us. We sincerely apologise for the abruptness of this announcement and the uncertainty it brings.

Your understanding and patience during this challenging time will be greatly appreciated.
