Congratulations! Here's what you next👇
1. SET A DATE - This will determine who can come
2. GET A ROUGH GUEST LIST - This will determine your budget
3. SET A BUDGET - Work out what savings you've got, contributions from family and what you can save per month. This will determine the venue you can book
4. FIND A VENUE - Based on the type of wedding you want, size and budget. This will determine what suppliers you need - some venues have their own caterers, bar, decor etc. Or a list of recommended suppliers
5. BOOK YOUR MAIN SUPPLIERS - caterers, registrar, Celebrant, florist, photographer, cake maker...these all get booked up 1/2 years in advance
6. DECIDE ON STYLE & THEME - again, your venue choice will dictate this. A rustic barn with wood beams and fairy lights won't need much decor. A village hall with nothing in it will need a lot.
Once you have a style and theme all your other decisions will fall into place
