Do you know what this is?
I spotted this unusual fruit tree on my walk and had to find out what it was!
This is the fruit of Cornus kousa. Common names include kousa, kousa dogwood, Chinese dogwood, Korean Dogwood, and Japanese dogwood.
The fruit is sometimes used for making wine and jam. And birds love them.
I hear it tastes like custard with slight mango taste.
