HUGE THANKS to everyone who turned out for Friday night's Northern Soul Stomp! The epic event was part of the Plough's latest exhibition: LEN GREEN: RHYTHM OF COLOUR which opened with a bang this week and runs 15 Jan - 15 Feb 2025 - be sure to visit for a dose of inspiration, and colour therapy!
It was an honour to welcome Abstract artist Len Green to The Plough's Gallery on Friday night for a fascinating talk about his roots and the way that Northern Soul music inspired his early paintings. Len shared stories from the dancefloor at Wigan Casino, birthplace of #NorthernSoul. The vibes were electric and it wasn't long before everyone headed downstairs to cut some shapes on the dancefloor! Len delivered an incredible set, spinning some of his old favourite tunes alongside the wonderful John Braidwood, Carl Bramble aka Gentleman Eclectic and DJ Chris Robbins of The Voice FM.
