On till the 22nd Sept, now's your chance to check out the Faux Arts gallery, rehearsal rooms and prop/leper museum. Plus the in-house church of the temple of Lazarus all contained in the fantastical building known as The Loft, next to the Torridge Inn at bottom of Mill St., Torrington. Allow plenty of time as the show contains new large scale works and listed under ND9 in the catalogue. Be sure to call on the other participants on your way down!

TITLE OF TALK:
How to avoid cancer and live to be one hundred

BIO:
Gary Acton is a cancer expert. He became a doctor by accident, having originally gone to university to do something completely different. However, after inadvertently ending up at Oxford and London medical schools he decided to give it a go and found to his surprise (and everyone else’s) that he was actually quite good.

His speciality is new experimental cancer treatments. He is senior medical advisor at Cancer Research UK and additionally works all over the world with universities and biotechnology companies working on really cool space age science.

He is also the most tattooed doctor in the UK and is frequently mistaken for Ozzie Osbourne.

He spends a lot time with his beloved miniature Dachshund Wilhelm.
