Swan Love ~ Party with Purpose
Swan Love was created in the great city of Leeds during the beautiful summer of 2012. Sitting in a park and brainstorming events ideas with two close friends and cofounders David and Danni. The party conscious concept evolved from the memorable days of ‘The Seaside Tribe’ which also created wonderful charity events back in 2001 by teaming up with pressure groups such as Greenpeace, Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) and Amnesty International using the power of dance, media, art and music.
The name Swan Love, came about after reading a superb book called ‘Party of the Century’. A brilliant biography about the writer Truman Capote. Truman was a New York socialite, he referred to his network of party female friends as ‘Swans’, hence Swan Love was born. Swan Love continues to grow and evolve and is now building a collective of superb artists, actors, musicians, models, djs, dancers, and bands who perform together creating awesome spectacular events as well as helping cracking causes across the UK.
Swan Love will now be teaming up with the wonderful Yurts for Life to create pop up events in incredible locations across the UK. Love and like... www.yurtsforlife.com
Our Swan base is the terrific transition town of Totnes in deepest delightful Devon. We aim to stage a new regular banging night very soon called TNT ~ Totnes Needs Techno.
