We are buzzing to let everyone know that FoodzUp will be taking over the shop and be reopening it on Monday 26th August.

We would like to thank everyone for your support over the last few years I am sure you will all join us in supporting Jackie in taking over :)

I will be there at 7am next Monday for my morning roll :)

Update..

Hi Everyone,

Sorry we have been a bit quiet recently, I am sure you will all be aware that have a new born baby can take up a lot of your time haha..

Over the last few weeks we have been thinking of our personal future and have made the decision that we due to personal circumstance changes (having a baby) will not be looking to reopen the kitchen as a takeaway on a day to day basis.

BUT

We feel we do not want a shop in the town centre of our amazing home town to be under used. Whilst we still plan on continuing what we are doing with outside catering/food in the pub we feel it is now time to pass the baton over to fresh blood looking to give tranent more options when it comes to food offerings.

As I am sure you will all be aware the shop done really well and had many regulars of which we miss seeing daily.

We are putting this message out to say we will be looking to re-lease the premises out to be used as a provider of food. We are also willing to help with anyone looking to take over this shop with a handover period mixed with help getting up and running as well as access to our contacts.

Less than a week until the Tranent Gala and it will be a busy few days prepping for the tea tent this week. Last year our afternoon tea boxes and our mini pies were very successful so we will be making extra this time ! The weather forecast is looking good so hopefully you can pop in and see us and treat yourself to some of our goodies 😊
