One of my favourite bouquets from this year was Amy’s from back in May - purple and orange might not be the first wedding colour scheme you’d think of but they’re Amy & Josh’s favourite colours and it worked amazingly well for their gorgeous Spring wedding with lovely Amy looking completely stunning in this beautiful shot by ❤️

Just a reminder that sometimes the best things come from the most simple ideas - if couples get in touch with me without a clue about their colour scheme I’ll often ask their favourite colours and try to build a colour scheme around that - it means they’re bound to love it and they’ll still love it when they look back at their photos years later 🥰

Your wedding is your chance to do things your way and choose what you really love - you don’t have to follow trends or do it the way anyone else is & above all else make sure you have fun doing it ❤️

Winter weddings…I don’t take on many weddings over the Winter as working with seasonal flowers, there isn’t a huge choice!

However even on the darkest days there are some flowers available including chrysanthemums, narcissi, hellebores, Winter pansies alongside lots of lush green foliage and berries, dried flowers and grasses.

So if you’re planning a Winter wedding and are committed to embracing everything the season has to offer then I’ll be excited to work with you to create something beautiful ❤️

I’m still busy redecorating my workshop but starting to see an end in sight so hopefully it will be finished this week ready for a very gorgeous wedding next week!

Marquee weddings are some of my favourites and I’ve been lucky enough to have quite a few this year including this gorgeous one with at for Robyn and Vishnu - we created this beautiful colourful statement hoop over the bar, a tree effect on the other poles and filled the tables with colourful bud vases and candles - all captured in these beautiful photos from ❤️

I’m so excited to have even more marquee weddings booked in for next year with some gorgeous schemes in the planning 🥰

The most perfect cake table…❤️

I loved collaborating with on this gorgeous cake table for Cat and Tom - it was bright, colourful and smelt amazing! Esther always creates the most amazing cakes and treats and being able to use flowers to show them off was just dreamy 🥰

Mandap of dreams ❤️

I adored decorating this gorgeous mandap for Robyn & Vishnu back in May at - it was the most perfect Summer’s day and the flowers just pop in beautiful photos. The mandap itself was designed and built by the bride’s brothers .mandap 🥰

They were such a wonderful couple to work with and just completely trusted me throughout the whole process and although we couldn’t quite bring the sunshine out at the right time, I think we created some colourful magic for them on their day ❤️

My weddings for the year are finished so of course it’s time to start thinking about Christmas!

By popular demand I’m running two wreath workshops at the beginning of December from my workshop just outside Guildford.

My last arch of the season for Robyn & Charlie and I just adored this one…a mix of late Summer flowers and Autumn textures ❤️🍂

It has definitely been the year of the broken arch as I’ve created quite a few but they’ve all been very different - like a catalogue of the changing seasons which is exactly as I like it 🥰

The great thing about a pretty meadow arrangement is how versatile they are…if you’re worried about the width of the aisle with your dress then a great option is to put them at the start of the aisle like these ones for Jen & Paul. They frame the way down which will make your whole ceremony setup look super pretty ❤️

And then they’re so easy to move for your wedding breakfast - to the front of the top table, if you’re having one, along the front of the bar, round the cake table or so many other places depending on your venue.

I definitely think of them as a hero piece for weddings as they just keep on giving ☺️ Do you think they could work well on your day?

Congratulations to lovely Robyn & Charlie who married yesterday - hope you had the best day!

I just loved all the textures in Robyn’s gorgeous bouquet as well as my favourite Japanese anemones and those beautiful zinnias from - she’s sending it off to be pressed by and I can’t wait to see the result!

All the colours from .uk uk a few weeks ago!

It’s amazing how quickly things change in nature…the cold snap has definitely ended the season for some of these varieties but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the frosts hold off long enough to keep the dahlias flowering for our flower and watercolour workshop with .partridge on Saturday 12th October at ❤️

Tomorrow’s wedding is a slightly more neutral palette but equally beautiful and definitely bringing those late Summer into Autumn vibes 🥰
