🎉 Well, that's it. The last show of 2024 (other than NYE at The Peninsula).

The Australia-UK Chamber of Commerce, hosted the End of Year Young Professionals Reception themed ‘Ngurra’ an Aboriginal word meaning 'home', ‘community’ and ‘a place of belonging'.

The Hon Stephen Smith, Australian High Commissioner to the UK delivered opening remarks, and John McClusky, Head of Europe at NAB provided the welcome address as the primary sponsor.

The event featured a captivating performance from our special guest speaker Naarah, winner of the 2024 NAIDOC Week 'Creative Talent Award' and Tasmania's 2024 Young Australian of the Year.

A busy weekend at The Grove Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort. It's a great venue to sneak in d&b audiotechnik E, T and Y range. The speakers are not only discreet but also provide high-quality audio and volume expected from our clients. The bespoke networked systems we developed allowed us to broadcast the same audio throughout the five-star location while still allowing local sound for the 8 discreet areas.

It’s 10 years since the magical spaceship theatre Roundabout was born. The tourable, in-the-round, 167-seater auditorium theatre from Paines Plough's has seen 100's of shows. Over a decade ago, we were busy designing the audio and show control systems alongside sound designer Tom Gibbons and set designers Lucy Osborne and Emma Chapman. We collaborated with Charcoalblue Bristol and Howard Eaton Lighting to produce the finished theatre that was built by Factory Settings. To this day, we've been busy maintaining and keeping the systems up to date so it can live on for another 10 years.

Since 2014, they've pitched up all over the country, from the Summerhall Courtyard during the Edinburgh Fringe, to a football pitch in Coventry, on Margate seafront, by a lake in Poole Park, in Doncaster market square, on campus in Lincoln.

Roundabout was built because Pains Plough is passionate about new plays and wanted as many people as possible to be able to see them.

There are no visible speakers or conventional lighting units in Roundabout. The lighting facilities consist of 627 individual LED light fittings, and there is a full surround sound speaker system.

4 years of planning went into making this wonderful theatre, and it's always a pleasure for us to visit it wherever in the country it is.

She's still busy on her journey. Little Amal started 'The Walk' in Turkey and has travelled nearly 5,000 miles across Greece, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and France, symbolising millions of displaced children. The 3.5m tall puppet (representing a migrant Syrian girl) is part of a moving theatre group in pursuit of raising awareness for refugees. We had the pleasure of meeting Little Amal along with a number of faith leaders who had gathered on the steps of St. Paul's cathedral. There was a wealth of performances, including a huge children’s choir singing ‘Consider Yourself’ from the musical Oliver! HAVEsound were brought in to wrap the building in loudspeakers to cover the vast audience attending the event. We amplified the performances and speeches that took place around the outside of the famous Cathedral in central London.

Music for Myanmar was an event for which we were proud to supply sound, video, and lighting across the entire central London site. The festival, organised by Burmese food writer, author and activist MiMi Aye, alongside artists’ collective Raise Three Fingers and broadcaster Helen Zaltzman, took place on August 22 in the shadow of The Shard, near Borough Market. Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter Laura Marling headlined along with Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly. There was also live comedy, photography exhibitions, artists’ workshops, craft fairs and a charity auction. As always in the UK, we're glad the rain held off for this fantastic event!

Shakespeare's Globe in London brought us on board for a complete redesign and installation for the technology in its Rehearsal & Educational spaces. Each room has been equipped with the latest equipment running from QSC's Q-SYS System for both local and remote control. We developed all spaces from the ground up for live streaming, drop-ins, remote contributors, and live audiences worldwide.

Such a memorable event for TikTok at 180 Standn in London. Supplying the sound and lighting for Soho House's stunning broadcast studio. What a fantastic team to bring this project to life. Creating this live broadcast was super enjoyable; looking forward to the next one.

Deadpool & Wolverines' recent event in London at the Hammersmith Apollo. It was great to see the cast (including Dogpool) as well as getting to meet SpudMan who was on-site catering. The sneak peak event hosted a battle of the bands and even had a warm-up DJ set from Martin Kemp. We provided Disney & Marvel with a true 80's theme sound design to match the previous two Deadpool films. Deadpool and Wolverine will be released in UK cinemas on July 25th, it's very funny and well worth a watch.

After spending last week in the City of London it brought back many happy memories of Bartholomew Fair. Our engineers and crew did great work over all the stages and event spaces. The festival took place between 31 August and 16 September 2023, with a programme of UK and internationally-renowned artists bringing a modern twist in a spectacular celebration of contemporary culture and the City of London’s unique heritage.

Fantastic sound team on the UK premiere of Fallout on Amazon Prime. London Vault-33 dwellers are revolutionizing the Vault-Tec viewing experience. We designed the sound for this immersive experience that took part in Television Centre, Shepards Bush. A full surround sound system played to the theatrics of this stunning launch event.
