HELLO 2025!

I’m not going to lie, myself and the flowery team worked our little socks off this Christmas season! After a few days off, I feel recharged and excited for 2025.

For those of you who are new here, I’m Kate, Head Florist. 🙋‍♀️
I love flowers, design, interiors, vintage fashion and furniture, but most of all cats!! And flowers….but cats!

Weddings are by far my passion, nothing beats walking in to see a bride on her big day, show her the beautiful bouquet you curated and know she has so much more to surprise her as she enters her wedding ceremony surrounded by flowers.

I like to connect with my brides, be there for the journey and really collaborate with them to get every detail perfect.

GRAND HALL - PETITE POTS

The other day I chatted a little about a florist complimenting a venue with florals. Sometimes as a florist you can’t be the star of the show, and you know when you shouldn’t be! has the most exquisite grand hall with enormous hanging tapestries that are like no other venue. This shines enough, so pretty petite pots of preserved floral are perfect 👌

MIXING PRESERVED AND FRESH

There is no doubt the happy feeling that using dried and preserved flowers gives you, knowing you have been sustainably curating your wedding day, with locally dried florals.

Dried flowers can be very small and delicate however and therefore you need a lot more of them to create that truly lux look. We helped by combining fresh roses to this design to elevate, give shape and dimension and a softness that works so well (and in my opinion is needed) in bridal florals.

So wonderful to create this Bridal bouquet of pretty preserved and dried florals for J+T. With a touch of locally sourced florals and pop of fresh fragrant Roses, how gorgeous is this colour palette. Bringing soft terracotta, teal, pinks, lilacs and mustards. The perfect blend of pastel with a pop of punchy tones.

THESE GIRLS 🤍

I’ve been very blessed with finding my forever flower friends! We have worked together for a few years now, and I wouldn’t be without them! Their support, passion and gorgeous floral skills have not only been part of our floral success, but essential!
As a busy winter season with weddings, workshops and hopefully a little socialising (!) approaches, I wanted to say, I am very lucky to have such a wonderful, talented team!

A BANQUET FIT FOR A BRIDE AND GROOM 🍇

When your Bride has THE vision!! And it is executed with passion and love!

A grand banquet full of textures, sweet aromas and curiosities. A table that stretched the full length off ‘s Repton Hall. A house that is steeped in royal history, of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I - this wedding would have wowed the royals!

Juicy fruits, silverware, candelabras, props, books and of course a touch of floral flair!
