Sunday took Santa and his Elf to The Mill House in Stewarton to meet all the children and family!

We transformed the venue with our professional pop up grotto.

The kids got to meet Santa and have a chat about what they would like as well as getting a selection box and a printed photo keepsake from our magic mirror.

The feedback from the parents was amazing as they completely didn’t expect the experience they got.

Yesterday seen us head to Scotts - Troon for one of our breakfast with Santa events.

We had a special visitor to see Santa for the first time Lottie and her cheeky smile was on the nice list and is definitely going to be partial to a wee selfie when she gets bigger!

We had a great day meeting all the kids and adding a bit of festive magic.

This evening we are heading down to Night Before Christmas Campaign HQ to drop off 200 selection boxes and chocolate lollies and a pile of Xmas books for the campaign.

The charity are in desperate need of donations to fulfill the requests for all of the people in need this Christmas.

Please go on the facebook or website and donate what you can to make someone on our doorsteps Christmas a little brighter this year.

Another successful day of events for South Ayrshire Active Schools who took over the Troon Town Hall for the whole day.

In the morning/afternoon we supplied sound and light for the South Ayrshire Schools Dance Competition.

We then turned the room round and added AV screens for the South Ayrshire Sports Awards.

Yesterday seen us take our interactive Santa experience day to The Carlton Hotel Prestwick.

Santa and his team of elves were on top form yesterday with interactive games, crafts, dancing and storytelling.

In true RAD fashion a full house of 200 kids and adults all excited to meet the big man himself!

What a week!

The team have covered 13 separate events since Monday!

A five day run with Kilmaurs and District Young Farmers Club annual variety concert in Troon Town Hall where we provided sound and lighting.

A four day run @ Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa for the annual festive ladies days where we provided sound and av support for the chefs cookery demonstrations.

A two night run of party nights @ Brig o' Doon House Hotel to kick off the festive party season.

A party night @ Mercure Ayr Hotel on Saturday with one of our DJs Colin McCardle

To finish the weekend off a fairy light install for a wedding @ Brig o' Doon House Hotel and a festive family day @ The Carlton Hotel Prestwick

Always a pleasure to work with the kids and teachers or Janice Marshall Stage School.

Last week seen us provide stage drapes, sound and lighting for the annual kids panto.

Look forward to working with the school again in the new year!

Our junior and mid students blew us away last Wednesday when performing in our second pantomime in many years “Cinderella Rockafella”.

Our students worked tirelessly giving 110% in the lead up to our panto. This effort did not go unnoticed as I am sure you will all agree after watching them shine on stage like the superstars they all are.

We could not have done this without the help of many people:

firstly we would like to thank Gregor and his team from GB Soundz - Events & Wedding Services LTD who transformed our venue in to panto land and provided excellent sound and lighting.

Secondly our thanks goes to our dedicated senior students who gave up of their time to come and help us back stage with all things necessary to make this panto happen! I can assure you all that these students were a godsend to us and their help was so much appreciated by all and the younger students loved having them.

Thirdly our thanks goes to the most amazing team of teachers without whom my job would be impossible. We at JMSS are so lucky to have the best team of professional teachers who are dedicated to the students and as like them they always give 110%.

Lastly our thanks goes to you the families and friends of our students, without your continued support our students could not have these magical opportunities to perform to such wonderful audiences.

Friday brought us back to work after our amazing honeymoon with the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce business awards held at Ayr Racecourse.

We had the pleasure of working with the host Ben Hanlin on this event.

Full sound, lighting, AV, Video Wall, Live Camera, dancefloor and special effect was supplied by us.

Massive congratulations to all the business winners and massive well done to the team at Ayrshire Chamber for all the work behind the scenes on the lead up to the event that made the night flow with precision timing.

What a year so far with weddings and events it has been for us at GB Soundz.

It’s been a privilege and pleasure to be a part of over 150 weddings and events since January.

It’s our turn now on Sunday!

I get to marry the most beautiful and amazing woman in the world.

So because of this we will be taking some time out to celebrate. Any new enquiries will be answered on our return. All bookings during our time off will be fulfilled by our team of hard working staff.

Please be patient as we will be taking a bit longer to get back to you over the next month but we will get back to you.
