One step closer to that tattoo! Silchester is now bereft of attendance passes. Thank you! Which will be next? My money is on West Lavington, or possibly Hook.

Calstock, Porthtowan, Hambledon, Galway, Reeth, Chew Stoke, have currently not souled anything like as well everywhere else. Don't worry, I'm not going to cancel. Just thought it's worth mentioning. Would be nice to have a full compliment of red stamps on this poster wouldn't it!?

🌸🌺🌻Village Hall Gardeners Meeting Tomorrow:
“Good afternoon and a Happy New Year to everyone.
Just a reminder, the Village Hall Gardening Group will be gardening tomorrow, (Wednesday January 15th). Everyone welcome to help. You don’t have to be a gardener (I’m certainly not) you can do as much, or as little as you want. Gloves are available if needed. If you have tools please bring them.
The work at the moment is weeding.
I will be at Porthtowan Villagr Hall gardens at 10am to 12noon. I look forward to seeing you there. Lynn”

The hall hosted Take Flight Dance Studio’s production of “The Nutcracker”: fabulous to see the hall full of activity and joy 😃 Well done to all their hard-working students 🩰💃🏽🌟🎄

Join the students from Take Flight Dance Studio as they perform "The Nutcracker."
The bar will be open for refreshments, plus there's a fund-raising raffle .

Come and join us to kick off the Christmas holidays with some festive fun. Mulled wine and mince pies, bar open and free kids refreshments.

Due to carol’s round the tree outside the village shop at 5pm, the film will start immediately after singing. Festive snacks and drinks from 4pm. Please come along to support both the carols and movie 😃🎄🎅🏻

No experience needed- all welcome.
Bring tools if possible.
No heavy digging-just pruning and tidying work.

A huge "Thank You" for everyone's support at our Christmas bazaar on Saturday.
😍Amazing stall holders and local businesses who donated prizes towards the tombola;
😍fabulous entertainment from dance groups, children's choirs and jazz ensembles,
😍brilliant volunteers who set up, served and tidied up
😍Santa who made the trip down to Porthtowan
😍and to everyone who popped in and supported the event
All funds from our community events help keep your local village hall open, but more than that they help keep our sense of community alive and kicking! 🎉🎊🎉

We are open! We have such a fabulous, vibrant selection of sellers- come down and see what takes your fancy! 🎄🎄🎄
Plus there is still space to see Santa 🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻
All funds towards the upkeep of the hall 😃😃

🎄Our elves have been busy getting ready for today’s Christmas Bazaaar. 🎄
The hall is fully decked out ( and toasty warm with the new boiler!)
🎄We have amazing prizes from local companies in our Tombola.
⛄️The bar will be open- great prices and selling pasties, mince pies and mulled wine.
🎅🏻Santa and his elves will be upstairs in our new grotto with lots of craft activities too.
🎶There’s entertainment on stage all day with dance demos, children’s choir, jazz ensemble and solo artists.
🧶🎉🎄PLUS of course the fabulous artisan stalls so you can treat yourself or loved ones to a beautiful gift.
We are open 12 noon-6pm.
Please remember this is a fund-raising event which helps keep our village hall open and our village full of activities and vitality: please come and support the volunteer team- even if it’s just to buy a cuppa!!
