I know 80% of my work at is faux floristry but I have to give this company a little shout out. Recently discovered him on TikTok & I’ve learnt so much about the beautiful Peony. A cause for some inspiration so expect a new peony wreath to appear soon. Just beautiful!

I couldn’t stand the depressing weather any longer and decided to springify the courtyard out the front of my house. Instant spring in a basket. I don’t have to worry about watering them, they won’t die and the joy they give is immeasurable! Starting prices from £49 & go up to £72. Don’t get me wrong, I love a real flower in a basket too, but my impatient levels got the better of me.

Brighten your door with this sun inspired beauty of tulips, all in yellows & oranges. This is a large wreath with a neat spread and only comes in this size. It would fit any door but is a statement wreath that’s for sure. Your whole street will get to enjoy the spring vibes this is putting out!

SPRING EXPLOSION! Hasn’t it been glorious today?! There’s something so joyful about noticing all the little spring signs more regularly now. It really puts me in a wonderful mood. So when my wreath-making client and I put this together yesterday in the studio whilst it was being battered with rain it really made us so happy. She wanted wild, whilst using all the regular palettes of spring colours & I feel she achieved it. I absolutely adore this riot of colour for so many reasons & it’s a crafty session which really didn’t feel like a job. Hot cross buns consumed, hot teas sipped, radio on in the background and all with a healthy dollop of chat. When work feels this pleasant is it really work?!

I have a bride getting wed today, the excitement is beyond! Here are the churns she wanted to sit side by side against the barn doors. Her bouquet, and various other displays all match & she also went with hanging mason jars and milk bottles on the tables. It’s going to look beautiful & I’m really looking forward to seeing all the pictures.
What’s great about this is when the flowers are of a decent quality you can re-use these displays and own them forever if your home.

I’ve been really quiet I know. So here’s some rope and a few jam jars 😂
Nothing that exciting to see here but it does explained my absence. I’ve been knee deep in wedding prep for a bride whose big day is coming up soon. She’s gone for the faux look so she can re-use the florals in her home once the big day has passed. I’ll take you on a little journey & you can come with me as I’m now at a stage to show you what’s coming up.

SPRING WREATH-MAKING WORKSHOP!
Off you pop Chrimbo! sayonara January!
Time to embrace those tiny spring signs you may have noticed on your way to work. Blossom is starting to appear on a few trees, daffodils are stretching towards the sunlight ☀️ and you can’t scroll anywhere without seeing lambing days open for February half term. It’s nearly SPRING! 🌷 🐑 🐣
With that in mind, I’ve created a first for the studio this 2024 with a Spring themed wreath class. This workshop is nothing like a festive Christmas wreath-making class. 🎅🏼 ❌
Glue guns at the ready, pick a pastel hue, 🩵gather the faux flowers of choice, 🌷some decorative eggs, 🐣maybe some bunnies 🐰& ribbon & let’s get crafty over 2 hours making a spring/Easter themed wreath. Throw in some hot cross buns and those teeny yellow chicks we all associate with Easter 🐥🐥🐥 and VOILA!….

The Arctic called, it wants its weather back! 🥶 🥶 🥶 oh my goodness, don’t know about you but I wish to be a bear, find a warm cave & hibernate. It’s an odd time, January. Not in the throes of festive spirit and tulips are still too far off in the distance. But you would like something on your door that brightens the space & brings some cheer. Well………TA-DA!
We are deep into BRRRRRR! Territory and front doors around the neighbourhood are looking a bit bare. Are you in need of some decorative door joy? Then this kind of style could be the wreath for you. Winter berries, deep, warm florals, and thistles and lotus heads set on a contrasting cool eucalyptus and green fern base.
