It’s always a pleasure to welcome new groups for a workshop. Research has shown that crafting, regardless of the medium you use, can bolster mood, improve self-confidence, and reduce stress overall. In addition, crafting has also shown to improve mental agility, and improves both gross and fine motor movements. But all that said, being a part of a group and doing something for oneself at a time of year when we are normally doing all the things for everyone else, it’s pure joy to take a moment.

Everyone loved the toadstools this season and this workshop was no exception! They’ve proven to be a huge hit for decoration that’s a little bit different, but still has the wonderfully festive red vibes. I wonder what will be the go-to decoration in 2025? I can’t wait to see these wreaths at home 🥰

Something new for 2025!

Welcome in the new Spring season with a faux floral or Easter wreath. Glue guns at the ready!

Celebrate the summer by making a fragrant real lavender wreath. The studio on this workshop smells divine!

Some more pictures of wreaths that workshop attendees have made. Don’t you just love a beautiful frontage! Part of me wants to increase the size of the wreath on the blue door to cover both sections, slice it in half so the doors are functional and have the wreath join back together when the doors are not in use. Although I appreciate I’m a wreath fanatic and this wreath looks entirely beautiful as is. Or maybe go slightly smaller in size and have two? These are the thoughts that keep me up at night. 😂 Pheasant feathers again featuring heavily this year. With the bleached pinecones adding a little contrast in colour and the dried oranges and limes throwing back to a sense of the traditional. Great efforts!
