@the.small.holding commissioned a bespoke piece for their entrance, which I wanted to create off site and then instal when ready…. Here is how I did it 👇 1) Back a plywood sheet with chicken wire 2) Using a backing grid frame as balance, I then added pampas and neutral tones to create a background full of texture 3) Adding natural pops of colours afterwards, with eryngium, sanfordii, amaranthus, limonium and hydrangea. 4) I then created a base arrangement in a trough to match which would sit up against this plywood upright at the venue to create the illusion of one piece (I used chicken wire and a little floral foam here, which I always try to avoid if I can), but the wooden tray is so shallow I needed to be sure the flowers would be secure enough). 5) I then secured at the venue by using fishing wire connected at the wall each side and behind, which cannot be seen. 6) I then slid the base arrangement into its place, and voila! 🙌 I really enjoyed creating this, and am so looking forward to creating other pieces for this gorgeous venue in the months to come 🤍➰➰➰ #floralinstallations #restaurantdecor #restaurant #restaurantinterior #driedblooms #everlastingflowers #bespokeflowers #dried #floraldesign #prettydeadthings #flowerstagram #dryflowers #driedflowers #flowersofinstagram #driedflowersstyle #botanicaldesign #smallbusiness #shopsmall #supportlocal #sussex #kent
