Wreath workshops! Have a lovely festive time with Lucie from The Bloom Foundry creating a gorgeous wreath for your home. Being held this year at The Tiger Tavern in Tunbridge Wells

It is a fun and relaxing experience, everyone loves starting off with all the raw materials and ending up with a unique and beautiful wreath.

You will start by fixing seasonal scented foliage including blue spruce pine, conifer and eucalyptus to a mossed base. Once this looks lovely and full you will finish off be adding natural decorations of dried fruit, pine cones, cinnamon sticks and a satin bow.

You will be supplied with everything that you need to make your wreath including a mossed base, wire, foliage, decorations and satin ribbon.

Autumn has arrived for PS Hair Co!

Poppy asked me to create something to replace the fluffy green and white dried statement pieces I made for her opening weeks. My brief was autumnal but not Halloween, maybe some orange and a green design inside that can be updated through the year.

I used the biggest artificial pumpkins I could find and filled them with incredible deep orangey Chrysanthemums, burnt orange and brown toned foliages, orange hydrangea, tiny orange "blossom" flowers, extra large acorns and pretty velvet pumpkins.

Inside, I created a mixed foliage flower wall base and then used elements from the pumpkin arrangements to carry the autumnal feel into the salon. As the nail technician works in this alcove, it was important to make sure that the display framed the area beautifully without interfering with the work area or where she needs to stand up and move around.

Statement fluffy dried arrangments for PS Hair Co, a beautiful new salon space on St John's. My brief was green/white/dried and this is how I interpreted it. I actually did this last month so watch this space for an incoming seasonal update.

What do you do when you want luxurious planting but the space is over 3 metres in height and in full sun most of the year? Ask me to create your dream in UV protected artificial foliage instead.

Presenting The Orangery Lantern - to fill this incredible 4m x 1.5m space I used a curated selection of different ferns, trailing string of hearts and palm leaves. I covered the two large beams and used a mixture of hanging foliage balls, foliage cylinders, and delicate trailing foliage hanging from tension wires across the width. Giving a beautiful look to the space and diffusing the light from the ceiling lantern to the room below.

I love happy customers 💗 Thank you so much Nell for your order of thank you bouquets yesterday. I hope your summer Panto for last night was a huge success and everyone loved their flowers!

I think the shop will be shut tomorrow (Saturday) based on the current weather report.

My current time frame re shutting the shop permanently is still not set in stone, it now looks like it will be the end of August I think. But maybe September! So please please please if you're up this way or looking for something beautiful come and see me as I have found a lot of treasures in my basement that are now in the shop 💗💗💗💗

When Life Imitates Art (and a lovely customer just wants to buy the frame and you get to keep the painting.... for now anyway)

I am taking a day off tomorrow as all the kids really want to go to Heathfield Show so we are having a big family day out (kids go free x many 🙌). The shop will be closed tomorrow Saturday, possibly open Sunday and Monday depending on if I get distracted by the Gin and Jazz festival! I will 100% be open on Tuesday 9.30 until 4ish and then the rest of the week.

Thank you so so much to everyone who has been coming in with your love and support about me closing in about a month. It really means so much and is helping me through what had been one of the hardest decisions I've ever made. I've had wonderful people that I don't even know telling me how proud they are of me having the shop and how happy looking in the windows makes them and that I am an inspiration to them. Which is incredibly humbling as I really don't think I'm doing that in my daily life. (Washing mountain is a prime example). I've had people that I feel like are Angels crossing my path with blessings to keep me going. So really from the absolute bottom of my heart I thank you all so so so much.

Hello Everyone, I have some big news.

Having realised my dream of opening my own shop 'The Bloom Foundry' four years ago, I have recently made the difficult decision to move the whole of
my business online.

Although this means I will not have a shop to sell fresh flowers in on a day to day basis, I will still be running workshops, creating incredible faux flower displays for businesses and private residences and providing beautiful fresh flowers for weddings and events.

If you have future bookings in place with me don't worry they will still all be going ahead. This isn't me closing the business just pivoting into a slightly different direction away from retail.

Thank you so so much to everyone who has supported my shop over the last four years. I appreciate each and everyone of you and will miss chatting to all my lovely local customers who pop in regularly.

I will still be open as a shop for approximately the next 12 weeks before I move everything online so please come and see me before then as I will have lots of great prices available! Keep an eye on my stories for daily updates.

Why we love working in Tunbridge Wells! Our fitters love Even Flow on St Johns Road where they have a sneaky look at the vinyl while waiting to grab a takeout lunch. If we need flowers or a gift we love the Bloom Foundry and Glass by Claudia where all her glass items are designed and created on site. For a coffee while out on a quote we can't beat Fine Grind beside the common.

Some of the villages surrounding TW are delightful and we have enjoyed work in Speldhurst where we can get some shade and refreshment in the lovely garden at the George and Dragon after we finish. Roll on the Summer!

The homes in Hungershall Park, Camden Park, Calverley Grounds and Nevill Park have the ultimate wow factor. We would love to do even more work in this stunning spa town, or surroundings.

Morning! Sorry the shop will be closed this AM as I have to take my middle son for Xrays on his foot after an awkward land during rugby yesterday. "No contact sports" being adhered to well by himself and his PE teacher 🙄 Hopefully they'll both listen from now on as the 4 broken fingers within 2 weeks while playing basketball last September clearly wasn't enough of a reason.

Mum life at it's best. Hoping it's not broken 🤞💙

Mother's Day! Mother's Day Bouquets available to preorder on the website now and there will be lots of beautiful spring bouquets available to purchase in the shop next weekend.

Please shop local this year with a real florist not a big letterbox company. Our flowers last longer, are arranged with love and care (not a machine) and buying them will help keep our actual bricks and mortar shops open.
