Last week I had the absolute pleasure of taking myself off for a couple of days to attend a workshop with near Ledbury. The focus was on suspended floral designs, made using sustainable techniques and beautiful British grown flowers.

Sabine was incredibly generous with her knowledge and time, and I’m fired up with new ideas and feeling so much more confident! As well as the mechanics, health & safety aspects, logistics and a whole host of tips and tricks for these wow-factor designs, we had in depth discussions on sustainability, using British grown blooms, going foam-free, business ethics etc…..and a good old gossip about the floristry industry 🙊

I shared this amazing day with three wonderful ladies, all with different backgrounds, experiences and stories to tell. Do check them out and give a them a follow:

Congratulations to Angie and Stefano who married at the beautiful on a rather windy Wednesday last week 🥂

For the earthy, taupe shades we used Quicksand and Cappuccino roses which work like a dream with dried grasses and eucalyptus. A heavenly combination plus the grasses move beautifully in a breeze 🥰

For Andrew and Leanne…one week married! The flowers were in a beautiful blush pink, dusky blue and ivory colour palette and included a few favourites such as butterfly ranunculi, oxypetalum and delphinium. Gorgeous ‘Hanoi’ ranunculi - a nod to the couple’s Vietnamese heritage - were the perfect blush pink 💕

We were thrilled to provide the florals for this lovely couple’s wedding at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park on a glorious October weekend last year. As well as the Bridal flowers and buttonholes we provided arrangements on our gold geostands, a moongate, aisle and table flowers. All in gorgeous shades of blue, burnt orange, peach and ivory.

The following day we took the doggies with us when we went to collect the hired items, and had a lovely walk around Richmond Park with it’s amazing views of London!

Such a privilege to volunteer at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival yesterday. Emma and I are both committee members for the Friends of Grosvenor & Hilbert Park in Tunbridge Wells and share beliefs in the power of nature, enjoying the outdoors and gardening, to develop community and build friendships. So spending the day in the RHS ‘Gardening for People & Planet’ garden which celebrates 60 years of the RHS Britain In Bloom initiative was amazing. We talked all day about the positive impact community gardening has and met so many inspiring people!
