I’m really terrible at remembering to ask for reviews from my lovely brides but here is the full review from the wonderful Grace.
It was such a pleasure working with Lauren for my wedding on the 22nd June 2024. Lauren stepped in without hesitation when my original makeup artist was unfortunately unwell and unable to fulfil the booking a few months before my wedding. Lauren was so friendly, reassuring and responsive and quickly helped me to book in a trial, creating a bridal look which I loved! Lauren expertly used a range of high-end makeup products and it is clear she also has some tricks of the trade up her sleeve. Lauren and her assistant Alice made the wedding morning so much fun and really put myself, Mum and bridesmaids at ease.
My makeup looked flawless and lasted all day which I was really happy about - especially as I have quite oily skin and shine can be an issue. I cannot recommend Lauren enough and will definitely use her in future if I need a makeup artist. Thank you Lauren!

Had a great time last Friday night at Tunbridge Wells. I gave a demo and talk on holiday makeup, featuring high performing but low cost makeup alternatives. The evening also featured talks from top stylist and jewellery designer Thank you so much for having me ❤️❤️

Now, I realise that it will probably be raining by the time I finish this post, but the hour of sunshine I saw today got me all excited about my Summer brides!
Here are some inspo shots I love that I found for natural summer make up. Every brides definition of what constitutes natural make up is different. To me it’s fresh glowing skin, a pop of blush and then soft tones around the eyes to define them and bring out the colour. I am, as always completely guided by every bride I meet. When we meet for our Bridal trail we take as long as we need to create the perfect look. It is always my aim to work closely with my Brides to bring their vision to life so they can feel their best and relax knowing they have everything planned perfectly.

My first time at a new venue today, the stunning in Oxyed. It was so lovely to meet Alice and her bridal party. We used soft pinks to accentuate her gorgeous eyes and a soft pink lip to finish the look. So many congratulations ###x

Well, what a couple of weeks I’ve had! I left my job with Nars after 5 long years, and started another job 2 days later, and I sat all my final assessments at college. It’s been tough, and I don’t think I’ve ever been so busy between work, college and family but I’m pretty pleased with how the final looks came out, now I’ve just got to tie up a few loose ends and see how my results come back! 🤞🤞🤞 special and super duper thanks to and .e.morrell for letting me drive them all the way to Dartford to be my models. I am so grateful and I couldn’t have done it without you! X###

A rare shot of me working today thanks to always a joy to work with you! This morning I was working at not a venue I’ve worked at before. Beautiful gardens and huge Teepee’s too. They also have a dedicated bridal prep suite with make up mirrors, lots of space and natural light, a real treat! I loved the hair by and flowers by too. More pictures to follow xx

Still after all these years, the childcatcher strikes fear into all our hearts!! The exceptional theatre company that is are performing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at The Assembly Hall Tunbridge Wells next half term from the 31st of May to the 3rd of June. Whilst I’m not in this show, I’m very excited to have created the make up for this shot, and I’ll be backstage all show week too! Flash back to 2017 and Anneka and Luke’s wedding. How was this so long ago? I loved the look Anneka went for, with navy smoky eyes to compliment that stunning headpiece and some very gorgeous navy shoes. Anneka also works in the wedding industry as a very talented videographer so she really knows how to make a wedding look special!

It feels like ages since I have done a wedding! After all the crazy theatrical work I’ve been doing lately it felt so good to get back to creating beautiful looks on some stunning bridesmaids at I couldn’t have met a nicer bridal party and worked with lovelier people too. It’s always a joy to work with again who did the brides make up flawlessly as always. Hair was done beautifully by and can’t wait to see the professional pictures for this one xx.

How lucky am I to have to stunning .e.morrell as my model today. The course I’m currently in is really making me push my creative side. I even did the hair and costume design for this shot. This is still a test shot for a final look next month but I’m pretty happy!

So today it was time for a practise run on a final look I’ll be working on in a couple of weeks. A departure from my beauty roots it’s a character piece with scars and cracks. I wasn’t totally happy with it, but I’ve learned a lot about what I’m going to do for the final shoot. I’ve thrown a filter on it so you can have a look though ❤️
