These are bus free prices, Mavis inclusive price lists are variable depending on the booking.

I love a soft special occasion glam. ✨✨. Helen was off to an evening event, and wanted a look that would last the whole afternoon and into the evening. She also wanted a look that made her feel glam, but still feel like herself.
We created a look in soft browns and champagnes to take her through the whole evening with just a hint of sparkle.

Hi All,

I’m new to the group so I thought I’d say hi.
I’m a freelance makeup artist with over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, I’m based in Tunbridge Wells and I cover Kent, Sussex and the South East.

I do still have some availability this year, and I’m booking up next year.

At the end of June I will be opening my own studio where you and your bridal party can do all their prep. Best of all the studio is mobile and can travel to your venue! I can provide a team of experts to do your hair and makeup, or you can dry hire the studio if you already have a team in place.

My studio is in a converted American School Bus and she turns heads wherever she goes!

It’s been a long time since I posted on this account. Admittedly I’m terrible at keeping on top of social media, but I’ve been a bit busy.
I’m still very much doing makeup, it’s currently peak wedding trial season and I’m connecting with this year’s brides and looking forward to another summer of gorgeous weddings.
So why the big yellow bus picture?
Well if I haven’t pinned you down and told you all about it already this is Mavis. Mavis is my new studio, who will be living just outside Tunbridge Wells, but will also be totally mobile so can come with me to your wedding or party venue.
She’s kitted out with hair and makeup stations, foot spas and comfy sofas to chill out on. There will also be neon signs and disco balls galore. She is currently at the amazing Shred and Butta getting the makeover of her life. She’ll be ready to go in late June, so if you are in need of somewhere for your bridal party to get ready that is truly unforgettable then pop me a message.
You can have me as your artist but you can also just hire Mavis and have your own freelancers (or even do your own!)

I love getting to finally see the professional shots back from my brides! Here is Cristina and her husband Sully’s wedding at woodland paradise . Cristina and I worked together to create a soft look that’s would stand out against that show stopping flower crown, and with stunning hair from Cristina looked magical.

Well isn’t the weather lovely? Well the rain held off long enough for a lovely wedding last weekend at which is a new venue for me.
I met with Sarah after a friend recommended me. I loved working with her to create a soft, cool brown smokey eye to compliment her beautiful dark eyes. She looked stunning! Hair was done by the very talented I also had the pleasure of doing the makeup for her two lovely bridesmaids. These are just a few sneak pictures from me. I’ll post some of the professional ones once I’ve get them.

I’m really terrible at remembering to ask for reviews from my lovely brides but here is the full review from the wonderful Grace.
It was such a pleasure working with Lauren for my wedding on the 22nd June 2024. Lauren stepped in without hesitation when my original makeup artist was unfortunately unwell and unable to fulfil the booking a few months before my wedding. Lauren was so friendly, reassuring and responsive and quickly helped me to book in a trial, creating a bridal look which I loved! Lauren expertly used a range of high-end makeup products and it is clear she also has some tricks of the trade up her sleeve. Lauren and her assistant Alice made the wedding morning so much fun and really put myself, Mum and bridesmaids at ease.
My makeup looked flawless and lasted all day which I was really happy about - especially as I have quite oily skin and shine can be an issue. I cannot recommend Lauren enough and will definitely use her in future if I need a makeup artist. Thank you Lauren!

Now, I realise that it will probably be raining by the time I finish this post, but the hour of sunshine I saw today got me all excited about my Summer brides!
Here are some inspo shots I love that I found for natural summer make up. Every brides definition of what constitutes natural make up is different. To me it’s fresh glowing skin, a pop of blush and then soft tones around the eyes to define them and bring out the colour. I am, as always completely guided by every bride I meet. When we meet for our Bridal trail we take as long as we need to create the perfect look. It is always my aim to work closely with my Brides to bring their vision to life so they can feel their best and relax knowing they have everything planned perfectly.
