London-Glasgow fusion! 🎉

Alex and Nicky’s fabulous wedding day combining the history and architecture of London’s RSA House with the joyful sounds of the bagpipes and an impressive array of kilts!

From our first chat on zoom to meeting up in a micro brewery for our planning sesh and right through to the big day, it was a pleasure to work with these guys! Thank you both for having me ❤️

I’m putting it out there .. in terms of our Great British weather, September and October are great months to get married in!! The weather on Lauren and Dan’s big day last month was so glorious we switched from an indoor to an outdoor ceremony on the day to take full advantage! ☀️

The ceremony area and views at Oak Barn, Frame Farm were fabulous and a big shout out to who saw our couple back down the aisle with the most beautiful acoustic music ☺️

After such a wonderfully busy summer/autumn last year it seems like a LONG time since our last couple of weddings so yesterday’s styled shoot was just the ticket to kickstart the season and get back into doing what we love!

We were at the The Lost Village of Dode, Kent], which is a beautiful venue worth checking out if you’re looking for somewhere with loads of character, and the shoot was organised and photographed by our very talented Molly Molly Parr]

One of the things we always chat to our couples about is the style and colour scheme of their wedding, partly because it gives us an extra insight into their personalities, but also because it helps us to know what to wear!! We’d hate to not fit with the vibe!

The one colour we would never usually wear is white so it was quite a novelty for Julie to be asked to wear white for this very beautiful and serene styled shoot 🤍

Whether your wedding day is set to be soft and neutral or bright and colourful, fear not, we’ll be stood at the front in the appropriate attire! 💃🏼

It’s not often that we end up in the group shots but this was the beautiful wedding of Sophie and Josh, and Soph’s family happen to be our closest family friends! ❤️

Needless to say, officiating the marriage of her best friends’ daughter was a very special moment for Julie (aka Mum) and an emotional one for me as I sat watching in the ‘audience’ 🥰

I particularly love the photo that captures Julie’s expression as she was asking Sophie’s Dad for his blessing! 👌🏻😆

Ending the week with a massive shout out to the lovely Clare and Ronny for all their hard work making Matt and Soph’s wedding look so beautiful, from table decor to this stunning wooden arch and everything in between! Also to for doing the most wonderful job with the lighting in the tipi, turning it into the perfect space for food, drinks and three absolutely awesome speeches! 🙌🏻 And to Matt and Soph too because so many of the personal touches, from the bridal party gifts table favours to confetti cones and sparklers were down to the two of them putting so much time and love into their big day ❤️ It was all worth it!! 🥂

This album had me smiling from ear to ear!! 😍 The lovely Sarah and Matt had their ceremony at RSA House in London this August, coincidentally on the same street I used to work on! They chose RSA House partly because of its beautiful architecture (and the awesome party space in the vaults!🙌🏻) but also because it’s a charity and they wanted to be able to give back.
They had such a great story to tell through their ceremony, which was an honour for me to write, and I think we smiled at each other the whole way through as I delivered it! ☺️

Obviously I’m only sharing ceremony pics because that’s the bit we do 😁 but, throughout their whole album, the way has captured so many wonderful expressions on the couple’s and their guests faces, so much emotion, is just brilliant! Beautiful images and lovely words have just landed in our inbox!

Rachel and Tom designed their entire home wedding this July and hosted it in their own garden! From the colour palette and the flowers they planted in their garden to Rachel’s dress and ALL of the bridesmaids dresses that Rachel made herself, the attention to detail was phenomenal!! 🤩

And I had the honour of writing them an upbeat, untraditional and very personal ceremony to fit with the unforgettably vibrant feeling of the day! 🥳 We even included a tree planting which I’ll share in a separate post!

It was a joy and I’m very grateful to the lovely for recommending me to R&T 🙏🏻❤️
