🪵 Whittling – Craft your own creations with knife skills!
🔥 Natural Fire Lighting – Learn how to spark a fire from scratch.
🍴 Campfire Cooking – Cook up tasty meals over an open flame.

We’re offering a safe and supportive space to connect with nature, discover new talents, and create lasting memories. 🌞

Each session is led by a qualified Forest School Leader, and our staff are DBS checked, first aid trained, fully insured, and trained in safeguarding to ensure a fun and safe experience.

🌳What a difference a week makes.!! 🌳🌞
The sun was shining and coats were removed.
The group played wide games , used the tools , climbed the trees , relaxed in the hammock , cleared some branches to create a dead heage, had a picnic lunch in the sun and enjoyed pancakes and popcorn around the campfire. What a beautiful day

A beautiful Wednesday full of crafting, creating, designing, climbing and making new friends . Some of the group decided to take down the old hazel frame and make a new den. They soon worked out the poles where rotten so started by coppicing some hazel for the new den.
Lots of perseverance was needed as one member decided to create a wooden stool, unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the finished project but it's looking great, more to come next week!
Nordic sling braiding was used to make necklaces and bracelets and We set up an art easel with different mediums. We enjoyed jacket potato and baked beans topped off with cheese for lunch.
This is such a wonderful group full of creativity and fun ideas I can't wait to find out what next week brings.

We have some space in this group due to some members starting their new journey at school, so if you would like your young persons to try forest school sessions please get it touch.

Happy New year to all my wonderful followers! 🌳

Thank you so much for everything you've done throughout 2024. Whether you followed, liked and shared my First School journey, or you're one of my regular Stay and Play explorers, Home Educators, Holiday Club children or attendees of our adult Woodland Workshops - I can't thank you enough and I truly couldn't do it without you all .

2024 was a bustling year for Little Trees! We welcome to both old and new faces to the forest. Weekly school groups enjoyed the forest, and adults explored new skills in our woodland workshops. We expanded our team with some wonderful new members, completed lots of CPD training from Woodland foraging to mental health first aid, and kept up with ongoing woodland maintenance.

Hairs to another year of connecting with nature and play - let's get outside and explore!

I have spaces available on our weekly sessions and would love to welcome new young explorers to our little tribe. If you're thinking about starting the new year with a fresh experience, please get in touch.
