Alien Disko is back at The Bongo Club with our 3rd international booking: French Hardtek/Tekno legend Harry Potar, joining us for his Scottish debut.

Harry Potar (a.k.a Roms) stands as one of the key artists of the European hardtek scene, with an extensive collection of releases stretching all the way back to 2003.

His trademark ultra-fat kick/bass combos, hooking melodies, and technical, distorted breaks, as well as his penchant for improbable remixes and bootlegs across all styles have made him a sought-after commodity, playing both live and DJ Sets at countless free parties, legendary clubs, and huge festivals all across Europe and beyond.

We can't wait to see what he has in store for us this Friday!

Alien Disko returns to The Bongo Club with special guest Waypoint (RAM Records/DNB Allstars)

Like a runaway freight train, Waypoint has been seeing success upon success in the Drum and Bass scene. Within the space of one year, the newcomer has unleashed formidable releases on established labels including the likes of RAM Records and DnBAllstars, and has seen support and collaboration by some of the largest acts in Drum and Bass right now, including Goddard, Sub Focus, Andy C, and Charlie Tee.

Bringing an impressively fresh flavour to his performances in both clubs and festivals, Waypoint brings a vast catalog of works featuring drums laced with fast-flowing percussion; an abundance of old-skool yet ground-breaking sound design; and catchy, unforgettable vocal hooks that attract audiences from across the UK and Europe.

Hardly pausing to dust ourselves down after the madness of the Fringe, Alien Disko returns to The Bongo Club on the 15th of September to bring you a multi-genre rave extravaganza across two rooms!

We'll be joined by special guest GLITCHGIRL, travelling from Liverpool to unleash her unique blend of genre-bending chaos upon us!

GLITCHGIRL is an international multi-genre hard electronic music producer from Spain. She has released several albums spanning a wide variety of sounds with elements of Breakcore, Drum and Bass, Hardcore, IDM, and Donk. Her DJ sets are an explosive concotion of 174+ BPM madness, focussed in Drum and Bass but always refusing to conform to traditional genre lines. Having played all across Europe and at events like Bang Face and Tramlines Festival, she now sets her sights on Edinburgh to bring the mayhem to Alien Disko!

In the upstairs room we are happy to host an exclusive takeover edition of Club Anywhen: In The Wild

Club Anywhen is the brain child of ETC/Riot Radio Records' Morphamish, an online audio-visual show hosted on You Call That Radio?, showcasing some of the finest DJs and producers from around Scotland in a weekly streaming format. As they prepare to launch their new series this September, they'll be taking over the upstairs room with a special live edition.

DJs Morphamish and Laldy will provide an eclectic selection of Techno, Bass, Breaks, Acid, Afrobeat, Balkan, Punk Funk, Samba and more throughout the night, to a backdrop of spellbinding live visuals conjured by VJs Pencase and Bloof as they transform the upstairs room into the Club Anywhen interdimensional exploration station!

It's time for Alien Disko's 3rd and final round of 5am Fringe specials at La Belle Angele, featuring special guests Scottish Gabber Punk!!

SCOTTISH GABBER PUNK merges the unrelenting energy of punk with the power of hardcore. Have you ever thought of taking the worst of rave classics, adding a splash of gabber and a healthy amount of unrelenting punk q***r leftist agenda, served up and shoved down your throats in the guise of silly string, party canons and snow machine peckers? Well this Edinburgh based duo are doing exactly that, and if that sounds like a good time then SCOTTISH GABBER PUNK is the band for you. We are on a mission to challenge the status quo, boundaries of music, and live performance.

They'll be joined by up-tempo warrior TWOCANNDANN, Clean Up's JI_2001 and Midnight Bass resident / Neurofunk king Idéfix!
