Peak Dale Show & Shine

I'm sorry to say but there won't be a Show & Shine in Peak Dale this year. Sadly the school has construction work taking place for an unconfirmed amount of time during the school holidays, I've looked at potentially hosting it at an alternate location in the village but it just isn't viable on short notice. Hopefully we will be back again for 2024, thank you for your understanding.

A huge thank you to everyone that attended the Peak Dale Show & Shine on Saturday. Congratulations to Dan Fletcher & Bob Needham for taking home the trophies in their spectacular Focus & Mini respectfully. A special mention to Robbie Peacock and his wonderful Volkswagen Golf being an extremely close runner-up.

Thanks to everyone's great generosity we managed beat last year and raised £461.76 for Blythe House Hospicecare which is amazing. A big thank you to Peak Dale Primary School for allowing us to host the event again, The Clough for supplying some great grub, The Cavendish Kitchen for donating chocolate brownies, a gazebo & chalkboards and finally to Rod Leach & the proud new owner of the refurbished bicycle for their generous donations. A special thanks also goes to the Bowling Club for allowing us use of their car park aswell as the volunteers who helped throughout the event.

Once again my thanks goes to everyone that came to visit, and hopefully we will see you back next year. Thank you very much everyone.

The trophies have just arrived and are ready for tomorrow. Judging will start around 12 Noon with the trophies handed out to the winners at around 2pm after we've totted up the scores.

The show & shine is from 11am till 3pm but if you've got to set up stuff we advise you arrive a little earlier. It's £3 donation per adult at the gate with kids going free. This is cash only, so please be prepared.

If you plan on attending but don't want to park your vehicle in the show itself then please use the Bowling Green Car Park located opposite Great Rocks Club, from there it's only a short walk down the road to Peak Dale Primary School.

We are just over a week away and there's still space available at the school with overflow parking arranged again if needs be. All vehicles of any age, number of wheels or function are more than welcome. Booking in isn't reqiured but does help us plan the layout better so please drop a comment below if you haven't already.
