My name is Sara and I am a relaxed, bubbly & creative Wedding Celebrant, specialising in designing and delivering personalised heart-felt ceremonies, filled with laughter, love and memorable moments. Making your Ceremony something that you and your guests will enjoy, be part of and remember forever. I believe that every couple should be able to have the joyous Wedding of their dreams and to be abl

e to look back on their magical day for the rest of their lives - with the memory of their ceremony being the ‘heartbeat’ of their day. I LOVE being a Celebrant as it enables me to use my creativity to craft beautiful, unique and completely bespoke ceremonies to celebrate each couples union. I have a level of enthusiasm for every wedding I’m involved in, as if it were my own - and I am completely dedicated to making ‘your’ day just perfect for you - making it ‘YOUR’ Wedding, not just ‘a’ Wedding ! My background is originally HR, Recruitment & Project Management (I do love a spreadsheet !!!). Dogs form a huge part of our lives. I have my own dogs, and before becoming a Celebrant - I ran a Doggy Day Care business from my home. My husband is a Dog Trainer and together, we are also able to offer a Wedding Doggy Chaperone Service. I’m known as “The Natural Celebrant” because I love all things ‘natural’, rustic, rural & outdoors. I’m very down to earth and love & appreciate the ‘simple things’ in life - including watercolour and acrylic painting and making things for our home. Becoming a Celebrant has changed my life as it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done & I would love to work with you, to design and create something truly magical for your special day.

A heartbreaking day.
18 months ago I officiated the Wedding of these 2 beautiful people - Maria & Les.
They found each other later in life and were so in love.
Today, I officiated Maria’s funeral.
Taken too young and far too soon, leaving behind her heartbroken family and husband.
Rest in Peace. A beautiful lady inside and out. The world is now a duller place without your shining light in it. ###

Happy 34th Wedding Anniversary to my Best Friend, my rock and my soulmate.

Their day was filled with so much joy and laughter. I really enjoyed getting to know them, and our zoom calls together were always just like old friends chatting.

Wedding season starts next month (Yay!!!) But I’ve been busy over the past few months supporting some really lovely families, who’ve lost a loved one.

My funeral ceremonies, just like my Weddings, are full of love, stories, gratitude and life.
It’s such a huge honour to be able to say a ‘last goodbye’ to someone.

Thank you to all the families that have trusted me with this.

I’ve been out and about this week, visiting some of the Venues that recommend me as their preferred supplier for Celebrant Weddings.

From the house where Bridgestone was filmed, a tower with the most incredible view, to a Grotto that was originally carved into the countryside as a secret tunnel ……

So excited !
In July 2023, I performed a magical elopement for a fabulous couple from Canada who wanted to elope to an English castle. A day I will never forget for many reasons.

I am thrilled to be doing the same again in September this year, for a fabulous couple from Canada who are bringing their love across the ocean, to declare their devotion to each other, at the beautiful and enchanting Thornbury Castle.

Such a magical venue for a fairytale love story.

Things I Love - Part 4
Churches….
I’m not religious but I love Churches. English Country churches, full of history. I love their architecture, quaintness and uniqueness.

I used to take my late Father out ‘churching’ - we’d visit 3 or 4, taking photos - our favourite being in a funny little place called ‘Hornblotton’ !

My friends all know that if we’re driving through a village and we see a church - we have to stop !!!!

I had a lovely day at The Limpley Stoke Hotel Wedding Fayre yesterday.
I met some lovely couples, looking to elevate their Wedding Ceremonies to something really special and personal - and it’s always so fulfilling telling couples all about the option of having a truly bespoke Wedding Ceremony with a Celebrant.
There were some lovely other suppliers there too - so all in all, a great day.
