My name is Sara and I am a relaxed, bubbly & creative Wedding Celebrant, specialising in designing and delivering personalised heart-felt ceremonies, filled with laughter, love and memorable moments. Making your Ceremony something that you and your guests will enjoy, be part of and remember forever. I believe that every couple should be able to have the joyous Wedding of their dreams and to be abl

e to look back on their magical day for the rest of their lives - with the memory of their ceremony being the ‘heartbeat’ of their day. I LOVE being a Celebrant as it enables me to use my creativity to craft beautiful, unique and completely bespoke ceremonies to celebrate each couples union. I have a level of enthusiasm for every wedding I’m involved in, as if it were my own - and I am completely dedicated to making ‘your’ day just perfect for you - making it ‘YOUR’ Wedding, not just ‘a’ Wedding ! My background is originally HR, Recruitment & Project Management (I do love a spreadsheet !!!). Dogs form a huge part of our lives. I have my own dogs, and before becoming a Celebrant - I ran a Doggy Day Care business from my home. My husband is a Dog Trainer and together, we are also able to offer a Wedding Doggy Chaperone Service. I’m known as “The Natural Celebrant” because I love all things ‘natural’, rustic, rural & outdoors. I’m very down to earth and love & appreciate the ‘simple things’ in life - including watercolour and acrylic painting and making things for our home. Becoming a Celebrant has changed my life as it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done & I would love to work with you, to design and create something truly magical for your special day.

So excited !
In July 2023, I performed a magical elopement for a fabulous couple from Canada who wanted to elope to an English castle. A day I will never forget for many reasons.

I am thrilled to be doing the same again in September this year, for a fabulous couple from Canada who are bringing their love across the ocean, to declare their devotion to each other, at the beautiful and enchanting Thornbury Castle.

Such a magical venue for a fairytale love story.

I can’t wait !

Churches….
I’m not religious but I love Churches. English Country churches, full of history. I love their architecture, quaintness and uniqueness.

I used to take my late Father out ‘churching’ - we’d visit 3 or 4, taking photos - our favourite being in a funny little place called ‘Hornblotton’ !

My friends all know that if we’re driving through a village and we see a church - we have to stop !!!!

I had a lovely day at The Limpley Stoke Hotel Wedding Fayre yesterday.
I met some lovely couples, looking to elevate their Wedding Ceremonies to something really special and personal - and it’s always so fulfilling telling couples all about the option of having a truly bespoke Wedding Ceremony with a Celebrant.
There were some lovely other suppliers there too - so all in all, a great day.

Dogs !
Definitely my No 1 !
Before becoming a celebrant, I ran a Doggy Day Care business at my home for 11 years. Abit like childminding but with more fur & mud.
I have my own dog - Betty and my son’s dog, Ellie also lives with us.
I lost my beloved Westie, Ted, a year ago -which still breaks my heart, as he was only 6 and the biggest character you could ever meet.

I love meeting my couples dogs if they have them, and they’re more than welcome to become part of their Wedding Ceremony !

These two fabulous people were an absolute joy to work with.
Their glorious Wedding just before Christmas was joyous, with family and friends coming together from different parts of the world to celebrate with them - some over 3,500 miles away !

From the very first meeting on zoom, she made us feel completely at ease and understood our vision for the ceremony.
She crafted a beautiful, creative and personalised script that perfectly captured our love story and the essence of our relationship.
Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were exceptional, ensuring every moment felt meaningful and memorable.
On the day, she led the ceremony with grace, humour, and heartfelt emotion.
We received so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful the ceremony was, with some saying it was the best wedding they’ve been to!
We couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant – truly an unforgettable experience!

January brings the snow - Makes the toes and fingers glow.

We have a large mirror above the fireplace in our lounge, but when sitting on the sofa, all you can see is the reflection of the ceiling !
