As we head into the weekend, we’ve been lucky enough to receive these fabulous photos of Sophie and James, reminding us just how much fun it is here 🤩

Our favourite disco divas 💃🕺 gave the tipis a disco vibe with disco balls of all shapes and sizes everywhere 🪩 it looked amazing 🪩

It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your day, with the decor and they way you just embraced the whole day, your beautiful smiles and joyous personalities shone through 💫💗🥂

I don’t even know where to start 🥰🥰 What a day, what a venue and what a perfect wedding back drop! Everyone was just taken aback by how beautiful the tipis and whole area was, and all we heard from our local guests was they couldn’t believe it was here/wished they knew it was here.

We want to have every single party here forever 😆 you both made our day incredible and we feel so lucky we had Berties Barn, it was more than we could have hoped for! I’m still going over every single photo taking it all in and how beautiful everything looked. You made us feel so relaxed over the last year of planning and I wish we could do it all over again. Thank you to all your family who were so lovely and helpful on the day. And wow.. the car! Best last minute decision ever and thank you for making it possible.
We will be talking about this for a long long time! Please let me know the best place to review you guys online as everyone should have chance to know your absolute gem of a venue 🥰

We’ve been wedding-ing for what seems like a bazillion years, and taking notes at venues we visit on what works, what doesn’t and trying to look at weddings from all angles.

👀 what’s it like inside the tipis ?? 👀

It’s blooming awesome, even if I do say so myself 🤩

It’s an atmosphere like no other.

As the tipi’s transition from day to night, they really come into their own, soft glowing festoon lighting coaxes you inside the tipis where Fairylights are hung literally from top to bottom and everywhere inbetween. The led dancefloor twinkles inviting you and your guests to dance the night away 💃 🕺🏼

If atmosphere is top of your must have list, then you won’t be disappointed 🏕 👰🏼‍♀️ 🤵🏻‍♂️ 💍 🥂

Celebrant v’s Registrar

What’s the difference???

If I’m honest, after nearly 20 years in the business I have to hold my hands up and admit I had no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️ I thought they were the same thing!

And since renewing our vows I have to say that in slightly biased towards a celebrant lead ceremony, now they can’t marry you legally, but for me having experienced both ceremonies first hand, I have to say that bringing our own personalities, involving our children, and creating our own one of a kind ceremony meant more to me than anything.

We got a chance to remember loved ones we’d lost, involve all that are here with us now and look forward together.

Did you know there are soooooo many different style ceremonies you can choose from.

We chose a sand ceremony, being a renewal we wanted to involve our children, so we layered different colour sands to represent our family as one 💕 and even better I have something to keep forever

If unlike us you’re not already married, then you get to do your legal bit at the castle, having a much smaller ceremony, keeps costs down and creates a more intimate affair for your crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s ceremony, leaving you to adapt and create a unique wedding day surround by family and friends, lead by a celebrant who will have spent time getting to know you both, before finally creating the most memorable, meaningful and totally your own ceremony.
