•CHRISTMAS FAYRE UPDATE•

After a long break over Christmas , we would like to wish all our staff, wedding couples, guests and suppliers a very happy new year!

Our Christmas fayre was a great success and profits raised for Marie Curie came to £206. Thank you to all involved and of course our generous locals for donating.
•

•UPDATE CHRISTMAS FAYRE•

Only a couple more sleeps to our Christmas Fayre! Join us for an afternoon of shopping, hot drinks and live music all within the walled gardens of Ardwell Estate.
•

On top of Marie Curie’s tombola, we will be donating all profits to the charity and hope you will join us in supporting such a fantastic cause.
We will be selling fresh wreaths and also hold a raffle for a spectacular wreath made by the estate gardener, Karin Smith (see first two images). This is a fine example of the wreaths created at our workshops. There will be a sign up sheet at the pergola bar if you are interested in holding a spot for next year.
Also up for grabs at the raffle will be a hand painted flower pot by Karin (image 3 & 4)- what a talent!Tickets are £5 and the winners will be announced via social media on Monday 16th December so stay tuned.

Stacey Joy will be kicking off the Christmas spirit with a live set followed by Stranraer Brass from 1pm.

•WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP•

On Saturday 30th November, we welcomed guests to a festive and creative afternoon of constructing their own fresh foliage Christmas wreath.

The demonstration was led by Sarah Nicholson along with Ardwell Estate’s Head Gardener, Karin Smith for further horticultural advice.

Hot drinks and treats accompanied a well deserved half time break before the final stages of decoration took place.

The result……. An array of unique and beautiful wreaths ready to grace their front doors for the month ahead.

Ardwell Glasshouse invites you to our annual Christmas fayre, Saturday 14th December 2024 from 11am-3pm.

Enjoy an afternoon's shopping teamed with festive drinks and treats at our pergola bar.
Music will also be provided from Stranraer Brass from 1pm-3pm.
Marie Curie will also have a tombola running with an array of quality items.

A fantastic day ensued for Callum & Lana’s big day with their ceremony taking place on the front lawn of Ardwell House.
The intimate and romantic setting continued a short stroll to the walled garden where the reception and dinner was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The party soon followed in the marquee bringing everyone together to celebrate the joy and love of this wonderful couple’s entry into married life.

On Saturday 28th September, we celebrated a milestone 80th birthday. It was an intimate gathering of close friends and family followed by a beautiful carvery and live music.
A sensational experience for our guests and of course the birthday boy!
