So tonight I was invited to attend this event at The Criterion Blue Town by the wonderful Annie Love Not something I would normally do but as I struggle to switch of and relax I thought I would give it a go.
The sessions are organised by Cosmic Connections and offer an holistic approach to relaxation and wellbeing.
The past week I have been extremely busy and today especially I have felt exhausted and drained. I very nearly did not attend but I am glad I pushed myself.
I walked into the venue wondering if this would be of any help to me at all.
Well I can Say I walked out feeling Strangely relaxed,refreshed and with a warm feeling within my soul. I'm hoping it will help me sleep better tonight. I will let you know if it does.
I'm not going to state much on what the evening entails as to be honest it is one of those things you need to try for yourself to understand the experience. I would urge you to give it a go. You know the saying, don't knock it until you try it.
Their next session will be on Monday 19th August at The Criterion. An event will be set up shortly containing the link to purchase tickets.
Well worth the time and money even if just for the chance to lie down, relax and not have to worry about chores, family,work etc for a couple of hours.

Finally after a very busy few days we have time to write this.
We just want to say a huge thank you to all of the public who attended and supported this year's Steam, Diesel & Beer Festival at Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway
We had glorious weather on Saturday with attendance figures nearing 400, which we are very greatful for. Again we nearly sold out of drinks on the first day. All the acts that performed were outstanding. A huge thank you to Kelly Burrows & More Than Human - U.K and also The Camden Shades for performing an extra 30 minutes each to cover a mix up on dates for one of our acts. However this actually was a god send as one of our Sunday acts were unable to attend but for a very good reason which we totally supported. Ever Present Past: The McCartney Tribute Collection Saul Watson was offered a slot on the tribute stage at Glastonbury Festival well deserved and very proud for him. Taking his slot at SKLR was the amazing Sophie Tuck-Brown

However the weather on Sunday was not good for us doubled with the fact that England were playing caused the foot fall to drop dramatically. Thanks to those that did attended and to the performers for giving their all considering the circumstances. The headline act did turn up however with only a handful of people at the site 70% of which were staff we agreed that they could decline from performing, again we supported their decision whole heartedly.

We must also give a huge shout out to F1 Sound Company Limited your sound and Stage set up was superb. All the acts commented on it as one of the best Festival sound's they have had. Monkey & Mitch take a well deserved bow.

Also to Nat S for supplying the sounds in between acts. The guy that kept the momentum going. Again superb.

And not forgetting all of the SKLR volunteers, Yes volunteers who gave up their time, some of which stayed on site over night on camp beds so they could be there at the crack of dawn each day to keep the station running. You should all be very proud of yourself, the dedication you give is second to none, to keep part of our heritage alive. Huge respect to you all.

And lastly to Ds Smith Papermill Kemsley for supplying the stage.

Overall we had a fabulous weekend.

Our fantastic line up, who proved how amazing they are at what they do.

Wow what an afternoon at The Beauty of Bath Public House watching The Choos

Now im going to put my promoters head on.
I can honestly say it was worth the wait to see these guys perform. They weren't just good they were outstanding. From the opening song to the last they had me dancing. Andy and Sophie Tuck- Brown both lead Vox, totally complemented each other and we're total power houses.
The atmosphere in the gardens at the Beauty was just what you would like to receive.
10/10 from me for act and venue.
I can highly recommend The Choos for weddings,corporate and private events, you will certainly get what you pay for from this 10 piece band.
What a great way to finish the week.

Good morning all. OK so this is a huge ask, we have been contacted by a charity called The Harmony Therapy Trust CIO they are holding a festival on Saturday 6th July.
However due to personal reasons the headline band, whom were also supplying PA/Sound tech and stage hands have now had to pull out. The trust do have a budget but it's not huge. If you are available on this date and can supply the above and help this great cause,please contact us either via messenger or Email, [email protected]
We do have all the details of what has been arranged so far and a fee price to offer. Venue is Sheerness, Isle of Sheppey, Kent.

Wow, what a day yesterday, 13 hours of nonstop fun. The acts were amazing, the venue perfect and the weather divine.
I can honestly say this was the best one yet. The atmosphere was awesome and everything ran like clockwork. A huge shout out to Maurice Dunk and team for putting this event together every year. Can't believe its year 5 already.
Other then the stage set up I took no other pics as we had the professional photography team in GSPhotographics Glen Smith pics/videos to be posted soon from them. Thanks Team

Quite a few thank yous, so here goes.

The Woodstock the use of your awesome venue. The new set up worked so well, that's the way forward for coming events.
And all of their staff for keeping the food & drink flowing.

Maurice for putting the whole event together, no easy task, but planned so well.

Triple A Events for your superb stage and sound techs through the whole event. Also the fact that it is a longer day for you guys then for any of the rest of us. An awesome team to work with, you keep me on track.

We have ordered Sunshine for Groovy 5 this Saturday, but in case of the odd shower we have agreed with Triple A Events to put the stage in the round garden directly opposite the open patio doors to the bar The Woodstock . You will be able to watch the show from the bar and it can hold 250 people. With trees all around it will be naturally sheltered too. We will as always allow Gazebos but as we are using a slightly reduced area all would need to be in place before the first act comes on at 12pm noon. No extra charge for Gazebos but it will be on a first come first served basis. Get there early to get the best spot. Can we remind you also that there is plenty of parking which is all FREE plus all children with an Adult FREE entry. Hope you will join us for our 5th Friendly Festival and enjoy our wide variety of food and drink on offers. Book your tickets online today details on the poster.

Good morning all. Before we advertise further afield, Is there anyone that would be interested in buying these two items. Both are only about 18 months old and only used a handful of times. I'm selling on behalf of my son. The both currently retail each between £300-£450.
He is only asking for £200 each, however we are open to negotiations if both brought together. They are both in original boxes.Genuine reason for sale, due to work commitments he has no time to use.

Good morning all. I do hope you have made the most of this lovely weather.
OK so this is a notice to say West Street Tapas will be closed on Thursday 18th April. There is a very good reason for this. The Tapas has been nominated in 3 categories for the Made in Kent awards.
Rachel Collier and Chris Collier will be attending the event. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
