🌨️❄️ Happy Friday, everyone! Today was supposed to be the big website launch day, but sometimes nature has its own plans.

Kent surprised us with its first dusting of snow, and I couldn't resist the enchanting call of winter magic. Took a break from the screen to soak in the serene beauty, and oh boy, it was worth it! ❄️✨

✨ Had a wonderful day in London yesterday! 🌆 One of the things I truly enjoy is attending events and workshops hosted by others. It's the secret sauce to staying fresh after 23 years in the industry! 🎓💼

My best friend and fellow event pro, Polina, hosted a fantastic wreath-making workshop in their London offices, followed by a delightful dinner. 🌿🍽️ Also, had the chance to see this years St Pancras Christmas Tree!

Standing at 12 metres tall it features a winding staircase, wrapping around 270 shelves with more than 3,800 books, but also around the base, nooks to sit in and rest, or if you prefer, listen to books being read out loud through some speakers in the cubby holes. Worth a visit if you're heading to town for Christmas! 📚🎄

Every morning, I start my day with a 5k walk on the beautiful North Downs AONB behind my house. Being surrounded by nature and breathing in the fresh air has been a game-changer for me in terms of reducing stress and boosting focus and productivity.

1:1 Bespoke Wedding Planning Workshops (Limited Availability)

I often get asked if I offer a full wedding planning service, and the honest answer is ‘no’.

In my opinion, as industry experts go, wedding planners are right up there on the superstar stage and well worth the money if you can afford to hire one! ⭐️

However in response to quite a few DM’s and emails I have received for those that do need a little bit of help and can’t stretch to a wedding planner; I have released a limited amount of 1:1 bespoke wedding planning workshops places which I will deliver myself on Zoom (or face to face by arrangement). 📝 💻

For those who don’t know me, I have been in the events Industry for 23 years delivering both private corporate events in the UK and oversees at Event Director level and I'm also an experienced mentor.

Whilst I do still run a busy calendar of events each year, my true passion is to empower my clients with the tools, skills, knowledge, and confidence to execute their own once-in-a-lifetime event experiences! 🎉

How and earth is it mid-March already?!!

Hope you are having a successful start to the year! 🎉

2022 was one of the busiest of my career with events in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia, middle east, North America and Canada! ✈️ 🧳

This year, I am trying to focus my time to focus on more local business and spend more time at home in the Kent countryside. 🌲 🌳 🕊

I also have a number of exciting events in London and the UK which makes a nice change!! 🇬🇧 👑

Going to be marketing some upcoming event planning workshops and working on our ancient woodland venue for more retreats! 🧘‍♀️ 🌲

Happy New Year to our wonderful clients, suppliers, partners and our long-term supporters and friends 😊 🎉

Hope you all had a lovely festive break and the start to the 2022 has been kind and healthy? ❤️

I have already broken my first New Year’s resolution, which was to post more regularly! But think it’s a nice first post for 2022 😊

After what has been a frankly a harrowing two years for myself and anyone in the events and hospitality industry, I’m starting to see some tangible progress moving into the year ahead.

The introduction of Hybrid events in the corporate events space particularly, has opened new opportunities and ways of working and as a result, allows us to work with modern technology to deliver integrated experiences in the digital age. 💻 🤓

Of course, this means I spend a lot of time learning new technology (and often having absolutely no idea what I am doing!) but to be fair, I have always loved a challenge and it keeps me on my toes! 💫

I am now fully booked until mid-April (hurrah!) but will be announcing new Spring Event Planning workshop dates soon, and some details on a burnout recovery retreat that will be aimed at hospitality and event professionals later in the year – I think we are more than worthy recipient of our own love and care!!

Hello! 👋 😀

Just a little update as I have not posted for a while – we’re still here! 👍

Made the difficult decision last year not to do any live face-to-face events until March 2022 😞 So instead have been busy squirreling away on other projects and working remotely for a bunch of lovely clients on various Event Manager and Producer roles. 🐿 🤓

Anything from virtual conferences 👩🏻‍💻 and campaign launches to video production 🎥 (it’s amazing how many transferable skills you gain doing this job!).

We will be looking to return to live events in March which is when our Event Planning workshops will resume as well as a few other exciting projects we are working on 😍 😊

I still have some availability January – March for freelance work so if you have any projects on the boil that need event assistance – please do get in touch ☎️

I’m also going to set a new year’s resolution to communicate more regularly on social media so posting for accountability!

Lovely first few weeks settling in ♡

We took 'time out' last Monday to hang out with our friends over at the breathtaking Bilsington Priory Estate to check out what's on offer there (WOW - what a setting). Had an amazing sunny, fun-filled day on the estate CLAY shooting, and looking forward to exciting collaborations very soon!

Was lovely to be a guest for once - what a treat and way to kick start the week 🙂
