Saturday was my first visit to Alexander House to marry Mat and Cat in a lovely loving family celebration of their love. A great day for the new Mr and Mrs Thomson.

Saturday was my first visit to Alexander House to marry Mat and Cat in a lovely loving family celebration of their love. A great day for the new Mr and Mrs Thomson.
Look at these two wonderful people, so in love. All the way from Germany đŠđŞ and loving Glencoe
A FIRST CEREMONY
EVER
IN A BRAND NEW VENUE
On the remote road between Pitlochry and the A93 Iâve been passing a sign saying âNew Wedding Venueâ for months. Today I conducted a lovely ceremony for Robert and Ellen all the way from the USA.
Helen, who runs the venue says itâs so remote the only way you can find it is on What3Words ///claim.highly.foot. Sheâs right.
Back down to Bachilton for Zoe and Jackâs big day. Great crowd and a lovely day.
A little way down the road to bonny Callander for a lovely little celebration with Robert and Eloise.
An all-Australian affair today with Janet, Geoff and their close families. Ossianâs Hall has never looked so wonderful.
Good grief it was ridiculously windy
Especially half way up Ben Lawyers
But this is where Sean proposed to Amy so of course they had to get married here.
Thank goodness it was in the summer.
Just imagine the wind and torrential rain in the winter. đ¤Łđ¤Ł
Loved it.
To the sensational Forter Castle in Angus to marry two lovely people Rachel and Joe. Rachelâs family came all the way from the USA to join us on a beautiful day.
On Wednesday I had the tremendous honour of marrying two of my lovely friends Sue and Chris. They moved to brand new house from Edinburgh and then had the misfortune of Wendy and I moving in across the road. But, they did ask us to their wedding
A wonderful, wonderful location above Comrie Croft. All the advantages of a smashing venue but with a real wild feel to it. Ross and Karen owned it today
A home run! Down the road to Grandtully for Emma and Andrewâs big day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs Donnachie, what a cracking day.
Todayâs wedding was at the wonderful Errol Park. Youâve probable worked out that Tom is in the army and the second photo is of his honour guard. Very smart
The most fun ever Iâve had at a wedding. Katy and Rory were a hoot, especially Katy as you can probably tell.
Loved it đ
What an amazing day with Emma and Lawrence. The ceremony was a blast, an absolute hoot thanks to Emmaâs inspired homework.
Lawrenceâs was three lines, 30 words and useless! I read it out anyway.
A really personal wedding today. Iâve known Chelsea since she was six and it was a real honour to marry her and Ryan. It was also great to see her Dad Tom again and some of the bridesmaids who, again Iâve known since their primary schooldays.
A fantastic day with Chris and Jojo at the most amazing venue.
For Mitchell and Christina a perfect day for their Perthshire wedding. Ok, we ran about an hour late after their bus from Hamilton left some of their guests stranded and had to go back for them but we did them proud. Great fun.
And the wedding itself. A magical elopement with Billie and Jamie, just them, me and Neil and Mairi Fordyce, their photographers as their witnesses.
Backdrop to a wedding
Look at the view! What a fantastic ceremony with Colin and Glynn - they wrote it and I was lucky enough to get to deliver it
A fantastic ceremony with the most idiosyncratic layout but it worked beautifully. What a great day with Jon and Kate.
A new, exciting and just stunning new venue for me on the banks above Loch Tay. A great day with Mandy and Andrew.
I see we are all going for âletâs chuck it nowâ videos. A very wet day with the wonderful Valerie and John whom I legally married in September 2020 and now we had the party! What a day.
I do love a family wedding and here are Lisa and Ryan with their charming boys Rogan and Dylan. I bet theyâll be a bit less charming once the party starts.
Hannah and Avery flew over from the USA to get married in their dream location in the heart of Scotland. The weather was not kind but just kind of representative of Glencoe in July - a warm breezy drizzle.
En route to the office today.
See that little lochan at the bottom of the hill? Well, thatâs where Claudia and Tyler are getting married. We are nearly at Strathtay in the depths of rural Perthshire- romantic or what?
An absolutely stunning location on the banks of Loch Tay. Dalerb is the proposed new location of the Scottish Crannog Centre so Michaella and Markâs wedding may be the last one here for a while. It would be a shame.
What a day with Hannah and Chris. Beautiful personal pledges, lovely readings and their Mums as their witnesses. Who could ask for more? Well, maybe some sunshine and a beautiful lochan. Job done.
One of those wedding ceremonies where you meet up again with two of your previous wedding couples. This time Sean and Emma were there with Colin and Louise but stars today of course were the marvellous Alistair and Ashleigh. Congratulations my friends and MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU.
Donât know where her husbandâs gone but first meet Hannah my bride of the day.
Now weâll go and find hubby Des.
Great day, great crowd, great craic as youâd expect at a Scottish/Irish event.
What a great day with a great group of friends and family. Congratulations to Kirsty and Kenneth - looking great!
Doesnât Katie look chuffed to bits, so pleased to be marrying Andrew. A lovely small family wedding at one of the smartest venues.
An outdoor wedding in April? It wasnât exactly warm but Jamie-Lee and Paul had a great day nonetheless.
A truly memorable and happy day for Charlie and Connor. Look at the smiles on their faces! đ
My first (of 5) visits to a local venue new to me and it is absolutely amazing. Beth and her team really did look after us. âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸
2022 - 2. My second wedding of the year with Zoe and Nick. I think the party at night might be a bit of a riot.
First wedding of the year and quite unforgettable. Meet Ross and Liam travelled all the way from Staffordshire for their big day.
Amazing autumn colours at Emma and Callumâs wedding. Photobombing courtesy of singing sister Olivia.
My very, very happy couple today. The new Mr and Mrs Gibb on a brilliantly sunny afternoon near Dunfermline.
