Beyond The Trodden Path– By Sophie Thomas

Inspired by local folk tales, through contemporary dance, ‘Beyond The Trodden Path’ meets a mystical wanderer, a collector of people’s stories. In a world that regulates our experience of nature, what does it mean to roam, listen & get lost? How do stories re-enchant the land surrounding us? And what magic lies in the mundane?

Created & performed by Sophie Thomas.

Sophie Thomas will be performing ‘Beyond The Trodden Path’ at our Early Career Artists Scratch Night to an invited audience of industry professionals and special guests on Saturday 4th May at Abbot Hall.
