So I’m going to be at this lovely forest school doing a autumnal mini shoot. It’s a magical place filled with laughter, mud, chatter, loads of child-led play, sometimes cake and so much more!
I can’t wait to be there and capture these gorgeous little one.

On Wednesday 19th October the wonderful Gemma will be in the woods available to take Autumnal photos of your tots. She’s amazing at getting beautiful natural shots and making everyone feels at ease. Just in time for Christmas gifts to family and friends. If you’d like photos you will need to grab a form off her in the morning and the photos will be sent to you to chose from. A little mini shoot along with all the usual creature comforts, teas, coffees, something yummy on the fire and Darren and Charles being their usual nutty selves!

So this amazing little creature has landed himsef a Bbo ballet scholarship so we are travelling to birmingham twice a month now. He works so hard and is always pushing himself, he listens hard, asks when he doesn’t understand, gives everything a go and keeps going till he’s got it. It’s the only place he’s ever really quiet too (😂🤣) I love his passion, his determination, his modesty, his energy, his stamina and I am bursting with pride. He truly is a little 🌟🌟🌟
Thanks to his lovely dance teacher, for all her continued love and encouragement and for helping me navigate my way there today. Dylan loved the scholars class today but rated his normal class ever so slightly higher, simply because ‘it was taught by auntie em’. 💛💛💛

How true is this? So many of my fav images aren’t the cheesy smiles but are; the distant looks, the loving glance, a cheeky grin, an emotional embrace. Precious moments not forced smiles win hands down 🙂

First lets appreciate the simple beauty of this gorgeous little baby, how simply perfect! Little O had me working hard for his newborn shoot, he was not wanting ANY sleep bless him but this family were a dream to spend the day with and I can’t wait to share their gallery with them. This beautiful bride put some much thought, love and effort into her wedding, rose petals saved from gifted flowers dried and used for confetti, hours making her own wedding cake, church flowers and arrangements, bouquets, no end to her talents!
Well it was all worth it! What a beautiful wedding and so many smiles and giggles. It was a pleasure to be part of your very special day.

This beautiful couple have had to wait so long for this wedding, due to Covid it was cancelled multiple times..3, 4 or was it 5 times?
Finally they made it up the aisle and despite the awful forcast the rain held off (mostly!) and as you can see, smiles were on everyone’s faces. It was wonderful to be part of your special day. Thank you for asking me and I promise I won’t make you wait as long for your photos as you did your wedding 💛💛💛

It’s been a challenging year as a photographer and as so many photography sessions had been forced to be cancelled or postponed it made this wedding all the more wonderful to be part of!
Amy & Max’s wedding day was forced to be small because of Covid restrictions but what it lacked in size it made up for in love, effort, creativity, charm, style, fun and even more love!
Every part of their day was created by themselves , friends or family, it felt personal, unique and so very special. These two families came together to make a truly wonderful day that I felt very privileged to be part of.

My little Rose reminded me it was Mother’s Day yesterday-amidst the other craziness going on it had been rather over looked.
Due to isolation and social distancing if you have been unable to get a gift for your mum or that special person like a mum to you or would like something to look forward to when this is all over. It's been a busy summer so updates have got far too delayed.
So to start, one of my favourite sessions this year. This beautiful family were so much fun, giggles, natural affection, gorgeous sunshine and plums what more could I ask for.
The lovely millfield orchard allowed us to do a session within the spectacular orchard. They invite people to come and enjoy it and PYO plums-they are simply delicious!

Im so proud of these two! i was fortunate enough to photograph their dance show and all children were amazing! These two though-they were unbelievable! They are true performers and and really did shine on stage! 💛💛💛💛

I believe choosing a photographer is more than just liking the pictures, you also need to like, connect and are comfortable with your photographer.
As much as I personally try to keep back and take as many shots as possible without interfering some shots need interaction and sometimes simple suggestions and to be part of someone’s special day is such a honour that I feel it’s important you are really comfortable with your photographer. So yesterday I got to meet this lovely couple on their wedding day. They won a free shoot at a local fete i had given as a prize. After a bit of a conversation it turned out they were having a very quiet wedding and had no photographer! So being a bit of a sop and knowing how important preserving memories is I offered to do the shoot on the day of their wedding.
What a fabulous couple. So sweet and clearly so in love, Georgie was full of giggles the whole time and their little baby joined them too and was just adorable too.
I wish you both a long and happy marriage filled with many more giggles 🙂

Having photographed their wedding almost a year to the day ago, it was such a huge pleasure to photograph their first baby, the adorable Miss E. She was unbelievable, she slept and slept and slept some more, no matter how much I wrapped, unwrapped, moved and cooed over her she continued to sleep! Perfect baby girl and as you can see, totally scrumptious!

a little sneak-peek .....
This adorable little boy came with his brother and 3 cousins yesterday to the studio for his cake smash. He rocked his session, his beautiful brown eyes, enormously long eyelashes and a smile that melts the heart.
