Thirty five years of togetherness were joyfully celebrated last Friday.

Steve' s eyes clocked Julie on the 662 bus, Bradford to Keighley.👀💗👀💗👀💗👀
It was love.

Julie and Steve share so many interests in common EXCEPT Julie's love of cats!

And what a beautiful touch to have Matthew, their son, read " The Art of Marriage" to them both and for these words to be given as a keepsake with a picture of them by Florence.

It just shows that anything can happen despite best laid plans!

That was Andy when he met Natalie and within 864000 seconds /14400 minutes /240 hours or simply 10 days he knew that would marry her🫶🫶

And marry they did on 7th August 2023 in the pictureseque, Walled Garden and Fig House nestled within the Georgian estate near Richmond.

Where to start in describing the stunning, country wedding , hand-crafted by Callum and [email protected] and their families!

Homely, happy and harmonious - Lizzy married her best friend and the love of her life in her VERY own field on her family farm.

It was EVERYTHING she had dreamed of!

Their furry family , sporting their smart bow-wow(!) ties , were just as at home as the bespoke transport which carried Lizzy and her bridesmaids to the ceremony outside the marquee.

Imagine the cheering and clapping when we heard, then saw, those tractors carrying their "harvest " in the shape of the bridal party.

And those very same tractors were also part of the "aisle" as you can see from the picture when we showered Callum and Lizzy with confetti!

We had a "Love Letters and Wine" Ceremony in which Callum's dad presented them with a fine bottle of wine, and all of the guests popped their cards containing their wedding wishes and wise words into the box too. Lizzy and Callum had written love letter to each other too. Lizzy's dad then tied the knot with his signature, bright orange Baler Band ( (farmer's trademark!)

Callum and Lizzy will choose their favourite place in which to celebrate their 1st anniversary next year - they will read their wedding wishes and share the wine and reflect on their joyous wedding day and their first married year.

This will become an annual tradition to be treasured and "savoured"

Elegant, sophisticated, calm and serene would be words to sum up Chi and Carmen's lovely wedding last Friday in the exquisite chapel @ ruddingparkhotel.

The Chinese Tea Ceremony and games had taken place in the morning with Chi and@ Carmen__l wearing their beautiful traditional wedding outfits.

Then, in the afternoon, there was so much excitement and anticipation with guests from all over the world joining in with the responses the gusto plus clapping , laughing and being DELIGHTED for Chi and Carmen.

Chi is an avid, and impressive, cyclist which started out as a practical solution to his commute whilst in London and has morphed into a passion and lifestyle.

In fact, their chosen reading reflected this perfectly:

I was so delighted when Chi and Carmen said that

The sun popped his jolly hat on today to celebrate, with guests from Hong Kong, Netherlands, Brunei and UK, the elegant and serene wedding of Chi and Carmen.

There were so many beautiful moments, not least the opening of the ceremony as Carmen walked in to " Beautiful in White" ( piano version by Westlife 🎹) - there was " eye dabbing" in abundance, then applause, as little R walked down the aisle cradling the wedding so protectively , and finally ahhhhhhh- ing as little M & B scattered the rose petals competitively, picking up speed as the clapping grew louder!

Such fun! 🎺

Yesterday afternoon , the swing band played in Ilkley bandstand raising funds for the new building for .

Honestly....simple pleasures 🪇🎺🎹🎤🎚️

Couples were dancing, babies were crawling, toddlers were skipping, ice creams were eaten, brollies were opened and closed, sunglasses were on and off and on, coffee was enjoyed and it was an absolutely DELIGHTFUL two hours.

Thank you to all who came along especially to the wonderful organisation by the Martin House Hospice volunteers and to the fab musicians in the band.

It's a big decision! And an exciting one, too!

Consider style, height, and most of all, COMFORT!

Are you going to wear these shoes all day - can you dance in them and can you stand in them ?

Your photographer almost always takes a photo of your wedding shoes, too.

If you're going for an "ambitious" heel (!), then you and your fiance may prefer to sit down for the love -story -telling part of your bespoke ceremony so that you are completely comfortable and relaxed throughout. Then you are ready to come and stand centrally to exchange your vows and rings.

I had a rather lovely "first" last week.

Whilst I was adding the final tweaks to a ceremony with my couple, the groom asked me if he could have a separate call so that could read his wedding speech to me to give him a boost of confidence and to check that content had not been repeated in their ceremony "love story".

OF COURSE he could! 🫶🫶🫶

And he did!

I felt honoured. His speech was absolutely heart -warming, heart- felt, and witty.

And what an insight into more of the background of his life and who was been by his side throughout. - his amazing fiance (obvs),his family , his friends and his priorities.

Everyone is in for a treat, that's for sure!
