Remember you can purchase Blue Noses from various locations around the ground at both games and every £3 nose bought will go towards the Blues Foundation to help ensure that every underprivileged child in Birmingham gets a Christmas present again this year. Santa Paws is coming to town again this Saturday and he knows who's been naughty and who's been nice so if your dog has been good this year, then bring them to see the main man at in Catherine de Barnes, Solihull on Saturday 7th December and treat them to a professional photo with Santa for only £10.

There will be plenty of stalls to purchase your pampered pooch an extra Christmas present or two, and we will be serving our stunning Tom Wagners Saviour's Blend with its beautiful Blackberry and Milk Chocolate undertones alongside a full range of teas and accompaniments and our award winning hot chocolate too and donating £1 from every hot drink sold as always to help the dogs in care as they await their new Forever Home.

Here we go, pint No.101

Luckily with it being so early an appointment i get to miss all the pedestrian congestion for the German Market so i arrived nice and relaxed and ready for my first donation of the 100+ club.

It's changed a lot since I first donated in 1985 and the beds are so comfy now that I could happily sleep on one for the night. Right then, let's get that needle sorted.

50 years ago today, so many lives of families were changed forever in an instant.

21 people were killed and 182 severely injured in the attack on the Mulberry Bush at 20.17pm and the Tavern in the Town at 20.27pm and the city's victim toll could have been even worse had a third bomb not failed to detonate in the doorway of the Barclays Bank on the Hagley Road after a policeman had prodded the bag it was left in. That was safely detonated in a controlled explosion.

Justice has never been served for those that were guilty of this heinous crime and for those that died in it. To read about the scenes that the emergency services had to deal with just bring tears to your eyes and yet repeatedly, governments have refused an inquest into these events but they were granted to other cities who suffered other bomb attacks. Why?

Stop for a minute at 2pm today and stand in silence for those that died that evening and for those that are still, 50 years on, having to fight each day for justice.

Birmingham remembers you, and we will never forget you. ❤️

It's that time of the year again as Santa Paws makes his visits to each of the Birmingham Dogs Home centres over the next few weeks to help bring fun and excitement for your pampered pooch whilst fundraising for the Dogs in care as they await finding their forever home.

You can bring your dog to have a professional photo with Santa in his cabin for only £10 and while you're there, you can buy their Christmas present ready for the big day as there are numerous stalls selling some wonder items including who do personalised items on the spot including doggy bow ties, bandanas and collars.

Our old mukkas Des and Ally from will be serving their delicious array of sweet and savoury pancakes and of course we'll be there serving our award winning coffee and hot chocolate alongside a full range of teas and accompaniments and will be donating our usual £1 from every hot drink sold to help the wonderful staff at as they care for the canines over Christmas.

REMINDER ⚠️ ALERT - TOMORROW NIGHT - FRIDAY 1ST NOVEMBER

We will be serving at Solihull's largest Bonfire Night celebrations as usual and this year they at on Widney Lane in Solihull along with a vast array of street food vendors for you to choose from and make it a fantastic family fireworks night out.

Tickets sell out EVERY year so please check quickly to see if any are available for tomorrow via the links on this post.

Our award winning hot chocolate will be available as always and I have stocked up with a fresh 15kg of it ready for the show. Obviously, our award winning coffee and range of teas and accompaniments will also be available too.

Remember, fireworks can cause serious distress to pets so it is always better to attend a well organised display rather than set your own off at home where dogs especially are known to suffer from the loud noise in such close proximity. There are also around 500 children under the age of 16 in the UK aline that are admitted to hospital every year around fireworks night from accidents at home displays so another reason it's better to attend an organised display.

Blues Fan Fest is on Sunday 3rd November and will be screening the mens FA Cup 1st round tie away to on the big screens with a 12.30pm kick off, followed by seeing live at St Andrews @ Knighthead Park as they take on and look to extend their lead at the top of the Women's Championship.

There will be a live DJ set in the Fan Zone on the Kop car park, face painting, balloon modelling, free posters to get signed by your favourite players at the end of the match, gorgeous sweet and savoury pancakes from and of course your award winning coffee and hot chocolate alongside a full range of teas and accompaniments from us at the Garrison Coffee Company.

Don't forget to have a go on our totally free Garrison Golden Goal competition for the chance to win free coffee and other prizes. A 3rd shirt in your size will be this week's bonus prize if you can guess the minute of the first Blues goal in the match, be it a winner, an equaliser or even god forbid a consolation goal, and the scorer too.

This Saturday sees the return of the wonderfully illuminating Acorns Glow Walk event at Walsall Arboretum following last year's hiatus.

Whether walking either a short route around the Arboretum or choosing the longer one, grab your fluorescent clothing and accessories and come and join the fun whilst raising money for such a worthy cause in Acorns.

Walsall Arboretum lightshows may have become a thing of the past but this event brings back those memories as you indulge in an evening of light as you stroll with your friends, family, neighbours or work colleagues.

We'll be donating our usual £1 from every one of our award winning coffees or hot chocolates and we'll be joined this year by our old mukkas Des and Ally from the Hungry Penguin Pancake Company who will be serving their gorgeous sweet and savoury pancakes so you can further enlighten your night with top class food and drink.
