It’s all about creating your vision!! 🤍Each colour palette is different. 🤍Each wedding vibe individual. 🤍Each ceremony, aisle, wedding breakfast has a specific want. 🤍Each ‘flowery’ design starts with you as a couple!! . What a dreamy time I have taking the ideas and creating the result. Dream job. These are a few of my favourite florals to create. 🤍Karon x. . . Huge thanks to these geniuses!! My Wedding Journey… all started in 2018 with @tallulahroseflowerschool and has been full of twists and turns……it’s made me realise if you keep your eye on the prize, you do get there. 🤍…creating firstly in a unit at the indoor market in Sheffield in 2018 🤍& then moving to my gorgeous shop in 2019. 🤍.I was on Abbeydale Road for a few years which also coincided with Covid which played a part in where I am today. 🤍.As I grew the wedding side of the business, embraced the changes that were happening I quickly realised that creating wedding flowers, working sustainably and using seasonal (especially British flowers) all had my heart and stoked my creativity….. 🤍Fast forward…2024 & I am embracing this new direction. Designing wedding installations, creating glorious bouquets, growing flowers, running workshops…it’s keeping this gal busy and the growing looks rosy ✨✨✨ 🤍.Get in touch if you are planning a wedding…OR check out my workshops if you are fancying a floral-pick-me-up. 🤍Karon x
Happiness is…...Having a weekend full, full, full of flowers. I have had a wedding @easby.hall and was totally taken by Jane and Martin’s venue. There was a lovely relaxed vibe and everything about this family home-cum-wedding venue was lovely. And check out the view from the outdoor ceremony. 🤍🤍🤍🤍 SaidAnd then today I have been involved in the wedding fayre Forest Hill Weddings with the wonderful Julia North East Wedding Venues And Suppliers …I have met some gorgeous couples, heard some amazing plans & been thoroughly spoiled with some delicious food from the street food vans.
Absolutely nothing is off limits. Throw me an idea… a vision & I’ll bring it to life. .I knew immediately I ordered these orchids they were going to be part of the bouquet. The breathtaking dress from @millia.london was my inspiration…I wanted the bouquet to standout without being too fussy and it definitely needed it to have a presence. Not be a ‘shrinking violet’. .I always have a nervousness when creating the wedding bouquet..I want it to be perfect, for it to add that sparkle and pizzaz. And it was no different for the shoot on Monday. .Just a question - do you think it took me less or more time to create this style of bouquet? (Gorgeous velvet ribbon @cfleursdesign ✨)..A huge shoutout to this incredible team of creatives - really at the top of their game -.Creative direction@nataliehamiltonphotography @thetrove_Photography @nataliehamiltonphotography Styling @thetrove_ Floral design@meadowsandmulberryweddings Tableware hire @crosbyhire Napkins @theknottednapkinco Table linen @88eventscompany Cake designer @wheretheribbonends Stationery @loveflorastudioco_ Make up artist @nataliekatemua Hair stylist @bridal_hairby_kayleigh_ Jewellery @junijewellery Bridal @millia.london Menswear @fallenherostore Venue @wynyardhall Model couple @half_dust_half_deity

Not the most glamorous of Bank Holiday Weekends!! But a super busy one in the garden (aka cutting garden).I’ve been planting out…sweet peas firstly. They look pretty healthy and even after 24 hours I swear they have grown up the supports!! . I’m really excited to tend them and get them ready for those weddings that are in my diary. They say the more you cut sweet peas the more they grow!! So guys…they will be working hard for you. .I have also planted out the stocks, the larkspur, Nigella, phacelia, briza…& I’ve been direct sowing some seeds. Fast running out of space!! .Hope you have all had a good Bank Holiday!! Ps if you want some sweet peas…I have some spares potted up…just drop me a message..you’ll need to collect though 😍.Happy Tuesday…just a few weeks and we have another one 🫶. 🤍Karon
This has opened my eyes!! 👀.I posted a day or so ago on Threads…about being nervous as a florist adding flowers to the cake…sometimes being put in the situation of adding them because the cake maker can’t get there to do it. .& have since learned LOADS about the dangers of adding the flowers!!Let me share!!.While it may seem like a simple choice to ask us florists to provide the blooms, there’s a hidden danger that often goes unnoticed: non-food grade pesticides. 👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀👀🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁🧁I have an FSA Document which I’m happy to share with you. Just drop me a message in the comments. …. We are liable if we provide the flowers...🤍Karon A thank you for the photos:Terri Pashley Photography Lara Frost Photography
