As some of you may know - my dad sadly passed away suddenly two weeks ago. I also lost my mum 18 months ago and so recently I have been reevaluating things.

I have decided that I will be taking a break from Emma's Fanciful Faces for the foreseeable future as I want to prioritise spending weekends with my family.

I have contacted everyone with an upcoming booking, but I won't be taking any more bookings.

Thank you all for your support - I've not decided if I will stop forever or if it will just be a hiatus - but its goodbye, for now ❤️

Another fab party painting with the awesome Magic Iain this morning, and then this afternoon I took my kids to a party as 'mum' and guess who was the entertainment there?!... Magic Iain again! 😂

The kids and parents love him - both really chill, relaxed parties, with the kids in stitches and happy faces all round! 😍

Random question - has anyone seen that new Lewis Capaldi doc on Netflix?

At one point Lewis talks about his imposter syndrome - this totally resonated with me. Its obviously a totally different situation, but I have always had major imposter syndrome about my face painting.

I've been face painting for over 5 years now, and yet I still think of myself as not good enough. I set myself a challenge today to try an Elodie Ternois Easter design I'd seen, and for once I am so so happy with how it came out! 😍

Lovely party this afternoon for two adorable twin girls who were turning five - as well as having my gold package (face painting and balloon models) they also had one of my giant number balloons! 😍 It looked amazing up on the stage!!

What is a whistle stick?
If you attend one of my parties which has either my gold or platinum packages, you will know I love an interactive balloon! Along with standard favourites like animals, flowers and swords I try to put some bows and arrows in the selection, and also a couple of these whistle sticks! Super fun (and NOISY!)

Fab party this afternoon with the very lovely Kieran's Discos at for Nina's 6th birthday party!
Nina had my platinum package which was face painting, glitter tattoos and balloons!

I looove World Book Day!! No balloon costumes this year (see pics for last year's!) but I still got to get out the face paints and I crocheted my daughter's gloves and vinyled her t-shirt! I don't know who was more excited - me or them! 😂

Lots of fun making a Monsters Inc balloon for Roman! I wanted to make it look like Mike was going to give the birthday boy a great big hug, so I'm super happy how it came out! 😍

Smaller party? No problem!

I love a small party - people sometimes worry that we wouldn't be able to fill the two hours but smaller parties really give me the time to put a little extra into the party! I can add more details in the face paints, I can paint arms too with things like rainbow bracelets, graffiti arms (I did a Harry Potter graffiti arm and a Batman one today that were big hits!) and also of course time to paint the grown ups who secretly always love getting involved!

Also for the smaller parties that book my packages which include balloons - it gives me more time to make the more interactive balloons, like bows and arrows, flying mice and whistle sticks, which are always huge hits!

So if you have a party big or small coming up - don't hestitate to contact me!
