☀️ Hi jungle friends. Just a reminder to keep pets cool during this beautiful but strong heatwave. I have my lizards in the garden with acess to a shallow pool and shade even though they love the sun.
Pet Rabbits in hutches can not escape so please provide shade, water and more room for them.
Its lovely to get our pets and birds in cages into the garden fresh air but check cage doors and put them in half shade. Have fun misting them with water. Blankets over any animal cage just heats them up so shade is better.
Cats and dogs who have to walk on hot concrete are burning their feet so dont take them while you shop or leave them for even one minute inside a car without windows down and water. Have a wonderful day with your pets ☀️

When i arrived at Ballytrea Primary i was met by a class of Amazon tribe warriors! The kids had made spears, painted their faces with tribal markings and made tribe hats! Such deep and inspiring research into their rainforest topic! They learnt about cacao, coffee and Kapok and held so many jungle reptiles! Enjoy listening to all the research they did on Brazil x

I had the pleasure to meet this lovely group of girls and show them the reptiles. They learnt all about the rainforest and were so intelligent and brave! Timothy the tortoise always likes to walk around!
