When trees fall, its sad but not bad. They make space for little trees to catch rare sunlight and all the plants grow around & on the tree, using its continued resources. The roots provide new growth for plants & fungi and alot of insects find a new home inside! The tree can lie for decades still “continuing to live”

Thankyou for the wonderful interest in my little videos where u can walk with me through the rainforests of costa rica. I miss my own reptiles and honestly i will love handling them again as my ethics are not to touch or disturb the wildlife here - unless they land on me lol! I now realise how close up and personal kids get to my reptiles with total respect, yet you cant touch the wildlife here.

Im not using guides much but floating on my own knowledge so do correct me on plant or animal facts ive missed. Costa Rica is different from the Brazilian Amazon in their rivers, animals and also landscape. There is a Pacific side and a Caribbean side so rainfall and heat are different. My hair has been through sea water and the intense humidity of jungles where make up means nothing here so excuse the dragged-through-a-hedge look in videos but im in my happy place!
