Ghost Hunter Tours head to Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear bunker to investigate this very active location.
Ghost Hunter Tours head to Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear bunker to investigate this very active location.The night will consist of spirit board, table tipping, glass movement, sensory work, also using the equipment such as K2's, the night will be dedicated to guests new and old and with the help of the experienced staff will make sure you will have the best night possible and that you come away feeling like a ghost hunter. The venue is well documented as one of the countries most haunted locations - are you brave enough to join us deep under ground in the secret nuclear bunker.

The Location:
The Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch, in the Borough of Brentwood Essex, is a large underground bunker maintained during the cold war as a potential regional government headquarters. Since being decommissioned in 1992, the bunker has been open to the public as a tourist attraction, with a museum focusing on its cold war history.
Kelvedon Hatch Secret Bunker in Essex is the perfect site for a paranormal investigation. With only a bungalow visible above ground, below ground sits an enormous nuclear bunker that has some terrifying spaces and some equally frightening paranormal activity going on. Ghost Hunts at Kelvedon Hatch have witnessed apparitions, poltergeist activity and EVP recordings and few of the staff are prepared to walk the service tunnel alone.
Ghost Sightings:
Kelvedon Hatch has been featured on both Most Haunted and Great British Ghosts and although never used for its intended purpose, this location has many ghost stories associated to it During construction of the site, concrete was poured day & night for weeks and one morning the Foreman's hard-hat was found floating on the wet concrete but he was nowhere to be found, the assumption being that he had been accidentally buried alive within the very walls of the building. An ancient burial ground was disturbed during the building of the Bunker and there is also believed to have been a su***de in the main stairwell. There have been numerous ghostly sightings and experiences at Kelvedon Hatch including Poltergeist activity and even apparitions. Growls and heavy thumping sounds have been heard, stones have been thrown and on one investigation the generator which is permanently turned off suddenly burst into life, terrifying everyone in the room. There is a malevolent presence within the service tunnels and the sick-bay dormitory seems to be a particular hot-spot for activity.

Kelvedon Hatch Ghost Hunt. THIS SATURDAY NIGHT !!!

Kelvedon Hatch is well documented as one of the country’s most haunted locations, are you brave enough to join us? This underground bunker boasts some very strange and unexplained occurrences and is a must for any keen investigator.

History

The bunker was built in the 1950s to improve Britain’s air defence network. From the 1950s – 1990s the Home Office maintained the bunker before it was decommissioned and the site was handed back to the original owners. The inside of the bunker comprises of 3 floors and a 91m tunnel disguised by an ordinary looking bungalow set amongst a background of trees; it is now used as a museum and is home to many interesting objects.

Although it was never used for its intended purpose many strange and unfortunate incidents have befallen Kelvedon Hatch. It is believed that at least 2 construction workers met their deaths on the site whilst it was being built and also that a burial ground was disturbed at this time. Are these the spirits responsible for the paranormal activity observed here?

Visitors to Kelvedon Hatch have reported experiencing objects being thrown, EVP recordings and even witnessing apparitions within the walls of this incredibly interesting location.



What’s included?

Included in the evening will be the opportunity to work with a range of GHT crew all with their own unique ways of communicating with spirit across several vigils.
