This space is pure joy in colour. A room where pattern, art and furniture all speak to one another to create a bold yet balanced interior. The botanical wallpaper wraps the walls and ceiling, creating a fully immersive experience, while deep plum panelling grounds the room and gives the eye somewhere to rest.

Soft powder-blue seating curves around the space, bringing calm against the vibrant florals, while pops of colour through the sculptural candlesticks echo the tones within the wallpaper. The yellow window frames bring in warmth and sunshine, proving that maximalism is not about chaos — it’s about harmony, confidence and flow.

Every element in this room was designed to work together, creating a space that feels playful, uplifting and completely unique.

Pattern should never whisper… it should speak.

This space embraces full pattern drenching — walls, ceiling and upholstery working together to create a completely immersive interior. The deep cobalt damask creates drama, while the softer toile upholstery brings balance and elegance.

Maximalism isn’t about throwing patterns together — it’s about harmony. Every texture, colour and print needs to talk to each other so the room feels bold yet intentional.

A layered palette of blues, warm gold accents and botanical greens keeps the space feeling luxurious, cocooning and alive.

Design is about solving problems beautifully.

This room presented an unusual challenge with its curved architecture, so instead of fighting the shape, I chose to celebrate it.

The floral wallpaper wraps across the ceiling to create a soft, immersive canopy, while the blue panelling grounds the space and gives structure to the room. Positioning the wardrobe centrally allows it to work as a subtle divider — creating a natural flow between sleeping and dressing areas without losing the openness of the space.

The palette keeps things calm and uplifting, allowing the pattern to feel light, fresh and cohesive rather than overwhelming.

For me, great interiors are about balance — bold design choices that still feel effortless to live in.

Designing a bedroom should feel like creating an experience, not just decorating a space.

Here I wanted to push pattern further than people usually dare — taking a rich floral wallpaper and wrapping it across the ceiling to create a cocooning, immersive atmosphere. The deep plum walls ground the space and allow the florals to feel dramatic rather than overwhelming, while the four-poster bed becomes the architectural centrepiece of the room.

By repeating the floral motif across the ceiling, furniture and details, the design flows as one visual story — bold, maximal, but still cohesive.

Maximalism isn’t about throwing everything together.
It’s about confidence, balance, and making every element speak to the next.

Design should be fearless.

This space explores the power of colour and pattern working in harmony. Electric pink meets vibrant blue to create a playful yet deliberate palette that runs through every surface — from the statement ceiling to the upholstery and artwork.

Rather than letting bold elements compete, the design allows them to echo each other across the room. Repeated patterns, layered textures and architectural framing guide the eye from one space into the next, creating a sense of rhythm and continuity.

The arched opening acts as a visual transition, carrying the colour story through to the dining space while still giving each area its own personality.

Maximalism isn’t about excess — it’s about confidence, cohesion and joy.

A room designed for atmosphere.

Deep walnut panelling wraps the space in warmth, creating a cocooning backdrop for the rich textures of classic Chesterfield leather. The palette leans into earthy browns and mossy greens, building a layered scheme that feels both timeless and quietly luxurious.

The patterned ceiling adds unexpected depth, drawing the eye upward and preventing the darker palette from feeling heavy. Soft lighting, natural greenery and a grand piano introduce moments of elegance and intimacy — transforming the space into something between a private members’ club and a refined music lounge.

A place designed not just to be seen, but to be experienced.

Maximalism isn’t about chaos — it’s about conversation.

Every pattern, tone and texture in this space is designed to speak to the next. The floral wallpaper wraps the entire room and ceiling to create an immersive envelope, while the soft aqua modular seating grounds the space and allows the eye to rest.

Natural textures bring balance — jute, wool and layered rugs soften the intensity of pattern and create visual rhythm across the floor. The cactus artwork adds a moment of calm and humour within the bold botanical story.

This is maximalism with intention:
pattern with purpose, colour with control, and a space where every element flows together.

Maximalism isn’t chaos.

It’s not just throwing every colour and pattern into one room.

Yes, it can be bright, bold… even a little bonkers. But it still needs flow.

Patterns should speak to each other.
Colours should repeat.
Textures should connect.

Because great maximalism isn’t random…

It’s layered, intentional design.

Bold ceilings are the new blank canvas ✨
This space is about immersion — pattern above, art all around, and colour that wraps you in emotion. I wanted the ceiling to lead the story, the walls to frame it, and the furniture to soften the drama. Maximalist, but intentional. Decorative, but designed.
Not just a room you look at… one you feel.

A bedroom should feel like a retreat… and this one flows straight into a dream dressing room ✨

I designed this space around my own botanical wallpaper — soft greens, painterly florals and a calm, luxurious palette that wraps the room from walls to ceiling. The archway creates a beautiful transition between sleep and self-care, turning everyday routines into a quiet luxury moment.

Layered textures, gentle colour drenching, tailored upholstery and statement lighting all come together to prove that pattern can be elegant, soothing and timeless when it’s done right.

This is how I design: immersive, considered, and led by emotion 🤍

Wallpaper & design by me.
