The FLETZ Device (App) for The Zone from Frontline Events

We often get asked, What will I need?

Other than yourself, the only other thing you need for the gameplay is FLETZ-D. You can download this app below.

Every player must have the FLETZ-D open with full volume at all times during play. With 59 authentic SFX and Visual aids, to clue you as to what is happening around you, the FLETZ-D will allow you to detect radiation, anomalies, emissions and other STALKERs in the zone. It will also tell you how much radiation you have absorbed and when you have died, how much battery you have remaining, and the time of day.

As the FLETZ-D relies heavily on GPS for its functionality, as well as acting as a visual and audio aid, it can be battery intensive. We recommend you bring large battery pack for efficiency and a good hard case to protect your device. We would also recommend an arm or chest mount so you can see your app easily. This document is to aid you in the use of the FLETZ-D. The is used by Admins to organize the events and you as a STALKER in the game.

The Psi-Block for The Zone, a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience from Frontline Events

A drug that blocks avalanche-like nerve impulses. Consumption induces short-term loss of all emotion. Used exclusively in the Zone to counteract the effects of anomalous psy-fields. The effects of the drug are long-lasting.

Some will pay more for these than others.

The Prize:

The bridge over the rhine, Arnhem.

Concept:
The British paratroopers at Arnhem, September 1944, were supposed to hold the Rhine bridge for 2 days until the ground forces of ### Corps could link up with them.

Reality:
- The 1st Airborne Division landed on 17 September 1944.
- They were told to expect relief from ### Corps by the 19th.
- ### Corps, however, faced heavy resistance along the narrow single road (“Hell’s Highway”) and was delayed day after day.
- The paratroopers at the bridge in Arnhem, led by Lt. Col. John Frost, held out for about 4 days (until the 21st) before running out of ammunition and being overwhelmed.
- The rest of the division held a shrinking perimeter at Oosterbeek until the night of 25–26 September, when the survivors were finally withdrawn across the Rhine.

To Conclude:
Frost’s men at the bridge waited 4 days before being overrun.
The wider 1st Airborne Division held out for 9 days, but ### Corps never actually reached them in time.

In short: They were told to wait 2 days, but in reality they had to hold on for over a week — and relief never truly came.
