Feel Good Disco

After 22 years, Feel Good Disco will be running down with a view to retirement in April. This is down to a long running health condition which impacts on my energy/fatigue.

I will miss the lovely people I've been able to meet and the buzz of those nights where the dance floor is pumping be it to Prodigy, Mr Brightside, Candy, S Club 7 or Faithless. I will particularly miss 80's nights and fancy dress parties.

I will not miss the lugging of heavy equipment, setup and set down, late nights and lost weekends spent exhausted.

As a result I will have more spare time at the weekends and in the evening which I will use to push on with my British Sign Language learning, play some cricket, watch some gigs, drink some cider and go to some parties and dance.

Thank you all who have used my service and I wish you all good health and prosperity.

A lot has happened in the last 12 months and the entertainment industry has been hit particularly hard. Many of us are self employed and fell though the cracks in the financial support so had to mothball and diversify.

But now, things are picking up, the future is brighter, we will come back stronger and more determined to be the best we can at what we do and enjoy it when we can. Many of us are second jobbers just trying to make ends meet.

All power to the self employed DJ's, mobile bars, balloon artists, singers, fire eaters, Chippendales, dancers and all the others who make events (Chippendales are defo the forgotten victims of this all).
