A fun filled 70’s and 80’s spectacular outdoor/indoor retro event in aid of The KEYHOLE CANCER APPEAL. Boogie in the Barn will fulfil all of your nostalgic dreams. Our concept here at Team Tropicana is 'GREAT PARTIES not club nights'.
For one night only, we will be taking this retro party to Tabor Farm Barn in Rochford in aid of the Keyhole Cancer Appeal for the Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation. The Keyhole Cancer Appeal aims to raise £600,000 for the provision of a new state-of-the-art laparoscopic (keyhole surgery) theatre suite at Southend University Hospital. Upon completion surgeons will be able to perform the latest and most complex keyhole procedures for patients undergoing cancer and general surgery. Many of these patients would have previously had to have 'open' surgery which would have meant longer hospital stays and recovery times and greater post-operative pain and scarring. On Friday 18 July 2014, Tabor Farm Barn, SS4 1LH, will be transformed into a retro paradise including a fully stocked bar, Kontiki cocktail bar, hot food court, face painter and onsite fancy dress shop. So what if it rains? We can house 1000 people inside the barn! Woohoo! We specialise in getting you in the party mood and for those of you who especially enjoy dressing up, this is definitely the place to come!
