Happy new year from Vasuki 🐍
2024 was great, so many good memories with lovely people - thanks to those who were a part of it in any shape or form, we'll have plenty more for you this year and hope to see some new as well as familiar faces.

Here are some pics of our 2024. Highlights included the night at Loki, Michael's new record, the discussion at Jumbi, and all those thousands of hours in the studio.

We're very happy that in just over a week, we'll spending the evening in celebrating the launch of VASUKI002: Michael's EP "Placid Wakefulness".

Together with listening to the release, we'll be hosting a really interesting discussion with the musicologist Eric Clarke on the relationship between music and consciousness, the sleepy-wakeful continuum, and loads more v interesting thoughts!!

Afterwards there will be lots of chilling soundtracked by the Vasuki Sound record collection and some very nice speakers!!!

Mani’s sets can be understood as genre-blending fugues. Her musical background as classical organist guides her obsession in texture and timbral breadth. Expect full-fat electro, semi-skimmed bass sounds, and percussive four to the floor.

Sea Elegans:

Sea Elegans is a dub-technoclassical breakbeat organism: an artificial aquatic lifeform that explores the intersection of organic sounds from acoustic instruments, ambient and dub with the synthetic sounds of modern dance music.

Winston:

Firmly rooted somewhere between the bass forward sounds of UK techno and essential dub techno grooves, Winston aims to create moments of dance floor introspection amongst a driving techno backdrop.

Saturday 8th June - We arrive at with a family affair designed to showcase the label's carefully curated sound. Known for their jazz-fuelled electronic experiments as heard on their widely-praised debut album Third Culture, .sound and Alex Wilson will be performing a special live DJ electronics x saxophone set specially prepared for those in attendance. Alongside them, label crew , winston, att0sec and will guide us through different corners of electronic music. Friends of the label and esteemed fashion designers .ldn will be adorning the space with their custom pieces of fabrics and art.

Expect thoughtful music and a good atmosphere.
