Pretty Little Flowers is a well established wedding and events specialist florist.
This wee guy gave us the fright of our lives last night. Severe colic but caught in time thank god.

This mix of peony roses and ranunculus (that one from yesterday that doesn’t look like a ranunculus!) are totally out of season but I managed to get them specially for my wonderful bride! Add in some garden roses, THOSE cafe au lait dahlias (second time lucky 🙈), wax flower and bupleurum and we good to go.
This definitely cheered me up on this rainy day! And defo a fave!

So this is our plot - thankfully it’s been covered but we are planning a small stand alone lean to at the top and getting it fenced in with some chicken wire. Great timing to get the practical things done before winter and prepped for spring!
We have tonnes of manure from the ponies field which is a brucey bonus! ⭐️
We are planning a no dig plot (at the moment) and I’m going to have a look at planting alongside the moon cycles (again just an idea!) 🌙 🧙♀️

The past 2 years have probably been the biggest and most enjoyable years I’ve had in my florist career. What a huge learning curve I’ve been on and what fun I’ve had along the way!
It’s taught me the biggest and most important lesson - my floristry does not define me and I do not need to be validated through my work. I’m now confident enough to say I’m a good florist, a hard working florist and I love that I’m always learning.
So I’ve been freelancing and doing my own weddings and it’s been hard but also very rewarding. I can honestly say that the work that lifts my spirits the most is the work that involves working with a team. I’ve been freelancing with for almost a year now and I’m looking forward to the future and all that lies ahead with these guys. Thanks for being my fam ❤️. I’ve honestly met the nicest people this year in particular who I’ve loved working with - you’re all fabulous 😘
So my page is changing to a more rounded and personal view of what I do. I’ve got soooo much going on this year and I can’t wait to share it all with you!

We had the absolute pleasure of setting up the foliage garlands and chandelier decor @theparsonageatdunmorepark for the wedding of the lovely Claire and Josh! We are super chuffed with the outcome and a HUGE thanks to Sam @davidsonevents for tackling THOSE ladders and getting this to the very top of the marquee and to Andy Ross Electrical for all the ladders and help with take down today.
